I have given up at present on Abbott so thought I might try a one off for ggggdad's wife's family. However, do not have any info apart from Elizabeth was born between 1750 and 1800's and that ggggdad may possibly have come from Wellingborough. They had we believe 4 children, William (John), Charles, Septimus and Sarah again born ?Wellingborough.
Can any one assist?

Lea

If one of their children was called Septimus , they had at least 7 children, as Septimus was always the 7th born.

Do you have 1841 census for them in Wellingborough?

Or are you just trying to find Elizabeths family prior to 1841?

I have given up on my Abbott family too. William and Elizabeth had children baptised in Arnold Nottingham in 1807. I don't know where they came from but there is a link with Kettering Northants. I also believe that they were non conformists. I don't suppose there could be a link?

Any info on either Elizabeth or John would be useful. No I haven't had access to Wellngborough census of 1841.

It seems the Abbotts disappear off the face of the earth at this time. Maybe there is some kind of link between Kettering and Wellingborough. I may have the wrong place but, have no where to start.
