Hi Julia

I never met any of my dads family. The only bit of information I have is that one of his brother's daughters were Annie and Nellie and I think there was an Alfred. I think the only hope I've got is if someone in the family is doing some research. My Dad's dad died in 1927 and the informant was either Alfred or Arthur (son) and he was living 60, Talfourd Road, Peckham.

Thanks for replying David And Julia.
I have found them on the 1891 and 1901 census and yes that was my dads birth. What I cant find is what happened to them after that. I know his sister died aged 11. I'd like to know what happened to his brothers.

I know very little about my fathers family. His name was Ernest George Russell. He had four brothers and one sister. They were:


Alfred George Albert b.1887
Francis Joseph b.1889
Arthur Thomas b.1894
Cecilia Minnie b.1896
George Ernest Lewis b.1898

His parents were Alfred George Henry Russell and Annie Nora Scott.
I'd love to know who his brothers married and their children.
If anyone knows of any snippets of information I'd be very grateful
