My G Grandmother was Ann Gibbons born about 1835 in Mile End. I haven't been able to find a record of her or her sisters'birth. Her sister Margaret was born about 1838. Their father was Jonathan Gibbons. He married Ann Sodo in 1808 but they were then seperated after having four children. They never divorced.
In 1841 he was living with Ann age 6 , Margaret age 3 and Caroline Gibbons, but in 1851 Caroline's surname was Hole and she was a lodger occupation nurse.
In 1861 Margaret was married and her husband and children were living with Jonathan in Bethnal Green.
If anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to hear from you.
