Hello Wayne and "Lost for Words". Thank you so much for your replies. I am so sorry that my thanks are so late. I am still trying to get my head round thsi system and didn't realise until the other day that there were all these replies on this particular page!

I feel that I am on a permanent "training course" (so much for a stress free retirement!!). However, all you helpful trainers our there are doing a wonderful job and this newcomer certainly appreciates your assistance!

I can find a Herbert.... but not Hubert? and born elsewhere from the others?

Tring to find information on Hubert Whorwood or Wharwood. Born c late 1800's/early 1900's. Brother of Emmanuel and May. Originated from Bradford. Can't find him on census. Son of Ada (nee Chippendale). He used to be an entertainer, doing the rounds of clubs etc.
