Hi I'm trying to find the Birth Year for Doris Mansergh Holme born to Emily Swannack born 1882 Worksop Nottinghamshire and John Mansergh Holme born Farelton Westmorland 1882 who married in 1902 i think - Kendal Westmorland and lived in Farleton then Back barrow Newby Bridge..i have a possible 3rd January 1927 for Doris but Emily her mother was born in 1882 and thought this was quite old if she married in 1902 and i haven't any other children......I think Doris married a Cole and died Back barrow 16th Febuary 1985 burried Barrow infurness ....i think
Please could somebody kindly have a look for me

What actual facts do you have? A birth certificate..a marriage certificate?

Hi Suzi,
thanks for your reply......i'm now wondering if this is correct as in Doris Mansergh Holme, Emily Swannack born 1882 Worksop Nottinghamahire is correct and Her Husband John Mansergh Holme born Farelton Westmorland but after that i'm now not sure about Doris as this information is from another member and he has a web site also with it on..the age seems alittle far out unless there was other children.... i don't know

I think Doris married a Cole and would be registered at Kendal Westmorland but i can't find a year....she died on the 16th feb 1985 i'm lead to believe

If you get her death certificate you will get her age ( if the informant knew it)..then you can look for birth year a bit more accurately.

Thanks Suzanne, you have now confirmed the little information i have is correct as i thought Doris's birth year of 1927 was a little late for her mother who was born in 1882.....and at first i thought Doris married a wilson but i've just found out that it could have been a cole and now thanks to you i know it's right
