TICKNER living in the Plumstead area at the turn of 1900. My father CYRIL CLEMENT (but always known as JOHN) was born in Plumstead in 1904. His older brother Horace was born about 1891, probably in Plumstead. Their father, my grand-father, was William Tickner, married Alice Meggs (?). Both died of spanish flu while working in GOUROCK. Two sisters, MURIEL and CYNTHIA also in the family. Both brothers joined the RAOC. That's about all I know of the family. Any information would be helpful. [email protected] |
