Hello All,
I am looking for Myrtle Truran who married Thomas A Payne in Maitland NSW in 1934.
Myrtle was born 1916 NSW. I am hoping someone may be able to find her on the Electoral Rolls.

There were no just "Myrtle" Payne's on the electoral roll.
Do you know her middle name ?

What was Thomas' middle name .. 'A'.... ??

Did they stay in NSW ?

Sorry I don't know Myrtle's second name. Thomas second name was Albert.
I do not know if they stayed in NSW.

I am unable to go to check electrol rolls until Wednesday, sorry but will try to do so I am in Qld so have to go to the library.
Until then have you checked the NSW bmd's on line.
did find the marriage for Myrtle and Thomas A. Ref 9879/1934 West Maitland (is just north of Newcastle, NSW)
Found 2 deaths:
1. Myra Myrtle Thomas ref. 18420/1969 (parents Colin and Beatrice) dist. of St. Leonards (is a northern suburb of Sydney, NSW)
2. Myrtle Alma Thomas ref. 55886/1974 (parents Albert and Blanch) no dist. given.
Afraid NSW bmd does got give a lot of information.

I did find Myrtle's marriage on the NSW BDM. Her parents were Samuel George Truran and Isobel Donohoe.
I think Myrtle was born around the Hornsby area. Most of the Truran's were there.

New information has come to light about Myrtle. Myrtle was divorced from her husband Thomas so she may reverted back to her maiden name of Truran.
Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Patricia, Isobel Mansfield Wall m. Arthur Truran, Hornsby 1939 Reg. No. 15534. Would he be a brother of Myrtle? As you said, there are quite a few living around the Hornsby area. I have checked her parents' grave at Macquarie Park Cemetery to see if she is buried with or near them, but no luck. I don't know if you have this information. Let me know if you want it posted on here.
