Update I have found a James Tuite from Ireland born around 1858 who emigrated to America in 1888. Does this ring any bells!!? He was in Lincoln, Walla walla, Washington at age 71 in 1930 working as a Labourer on a ranch! This fits quite well as he didn't show up on any further UK census' There is also a James Tuite born around 1858 who died in New York age 35 in 1893.. Can somebody remember their uncle/aunts, grandfather/mother, father/mother, telling them about a relative emigrating to the USA in 1888! Any help appreciated.. |
