Hi - Looking for John William Tunstall (1822-1884) married to (?). They had 9 children. The wife died soon after the 9th one was born. He was then aged 40. !! He was a potter thrower on 1861 census (Lambeth). On the 1881 census he had remarried to Eliza and 3 of the 9 offspring were still living with him. Would like to know who the first wife was and who John William Tunstall was descended from. Can anyone help please? His 9 children were Alfred, John J., Alice, Clara Julia, Edmund, Edwin, Jessie Jane, Mary Ann, Walter A.

Hi - just come across John W Tunstall tonight on my searches. I'm researching the Harding family and am trying to validate whether the Arthur Harding that Alice H Tunstall married is the same one that I am looking for (father of Frederick born 1889ish, who married Irene Hill in 1918).
