Trying to trace a Robert Underwood. Born in the Cumbria area of England in 1850. Emigrated to Canada. Last heard of in Winnipeg. He married and had at least five children (I have a family photo). Robert's parents were Thomas James Underwood (1823-1910) and Elizabeth Forster (1826-1904). He had eight siblings, John (known as Jack), James, William, Barbara, Janet (known as Jennie), Margaret, Mary-Ann and Elizabeth (known as Bessie). Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated, I have been trying to trace this elusive ancestor for YEARS!!! |

Just to let you all know, I found a descendant of Robert - his grand-daughter!!! I wrote a letter to all the Underwoods in Winnipeg and she called me saying "I think I'm who you are looking for" |
