Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	I am trying to trace my mother´s family, she was born Mary Joan Julia Vernau in 1924 in London. I know she had brothers, John, George, Billy, Dennis and Peter who was addopted by a family called Jones. I believe her mother died in 1929 and her father died in 1934. I understand her father was born in England but her Granfather was born in France. I do not know exactly where in London she was born but I know she spent alot of her younger life in Eltham and Woolich. She married Samuel Robert Harrison in 1946 and moved to Yorkshire where she died in 1988. She mentioned the names Gamble and Ambler but I do not know what relation they were to her. I also understand either her father or grandfather were glass blowers. If anyone has any information or that they may be related please get in touch as I know very little about my mothers relations.
