Just found the site. I am Denise McKinna(nee Wakely) and am curious to find any members of the Wakely family who may have been related to John George Wakely (1896 - 1949)- he moved to Australia after WW1. I am curious - if you can help it would be great. Denise McKinna |

Can you tell me where John George Wakely was born. My Wakely family originate from north devon, although I think that my great grandfather was born in Guernsey,Channel Islands.Bit difficult to prove but he did marry a young woman from Jersey, Channel Islands |
