West family in Hull and London I am looking for any information to give a fuller picture of my grandmothers west family. I have found George West ,gentleman ,from Hull father of George West c1814 born Sculcoates Hull m Sarah Binnington They have at least 3 children George c 1854,Hannah c 1846 and Robert 1847 George West c1814 is a painter and decorator the family move to London in the 1860's and move around the area including Clerkenwell and Lewisham. In 1877 George West c 1854 [also a painter] m.Ellen Martha Hix and lived around lewisham and Camberwell their children included Henry c 1880,Annie Mary c1880 [not twins]Caroline c1883 and Charles c 1888 Annie Mary [my great grandmother]married William Frank Dennison in 1902 I know its unlikely but is anyone else researching Wests in Hull ? Also is anyone else researching London based Wests who might be linked ? |
