Have got lots of info on WHITESIDES around the Garstang, Hambleton, Rawcliffe and Barnacre areas of Lancashire. Looking mainly at the moment for Robert and Sarah Whiteside had around 15 children between 1776 and 1798. Anyone with any info please get in touch

Hi, Joanne.
Just browsing and came across your message. Robert b. 1751 and Sarah Whiteside were my 4 greats grandparents. Their grave stone is in Stalmine church yard. I am descended from their son Moses b. 1871. I have quite a bit of info on my line if you would like to get in touch.
cheers Jenny

Hi
I have just read your message, and although i am not related to the Whitesides, i am tracing the histories of some of the families who have lived in Freckleton but come from other places. My interest is in George Whiteside b. 1819ish married Sarah Parkinson and had 4 daughters Jenny or Janet Hannah, Ruth and Margaret. George was born Cockerham and was blacksmith at Oreton 1861 and moved to Freckleton around 1868ish. with family. Is there any possibility that they may have been Quakers? Any info you may have would be a great help please.
Regards Joyce
