Edwin was born 1881 in Bermondsey and married Mary Ellen Payton in South Shields in 1909. Edwin was a professional pianist & toured music halls with Mary. Does anyone have any information about them whilst they were touring? Unfortunately I don't have their stage names. I can't find any information on them in the 1901 census.

Edwin had 10 siblings, his parents were Richard William Williams and Fanny (nee Grice). Mary's father was listed as deceased on her marriage cert (occupation - master mariner).

I do have quite a lot of info about his ancestors but would like more info on Edwin himself if possible.

Deborah -- it would make far more sense to add your correction to his name to this thread, rather than start a whole new thread about it. The two will not appear together on the board, and this thread with all the other info but the wrong name is the one that needs fixing.

His name was Edwin *Richard* Williams, right? ;)

What I should have said -- you can (and should) use the "Edit" function in the lower right corner of your post in this thread, to fix the name in the subject line.
