I am trying to find my great grandfather on my fathers side. His name was William Wilson. As of yet luck has not been on my side as i have had no luck in finding him or his father (Robert Wilson) on either the 1901 or 1891 census'. All i have to work on by word of mouth, is that William was born in Streethouse, Yorkshire, and died in 1964 aged about 77. He married Ann(ie) Eliza Spiers(i am lead to believe[according to family] Ann was also born in Streethouse) and they had a son called William Gilbert Wilson. Robert Wilson was born in Staindrop, Durham, all i know about Robert is that he was a Blacksmith. If anyone could help me i would be very very grateful, for at the moment i am stuck, and do not know where to look now! Regards, Leanne |
