I am trying to find any links to Elizabeth Wood of Yorkshire. She was born about 1845 and married George William Frost who was born in 1841. Elizabeth was from a family of 20 who were originally farmers in the Yorkshire Dales who may have moved to Hull. Elizabeth and George lived in Hull and in 1879 took their 4 children to Belfast. George then worked with Harland and Wolff and I think had 11 children. At least 4 sons went on to work on the Titanic and one of them Artie was drowned on the maiden voyage. Elizabeth is the daughter of William Wood and Elizabeth Blankin, probably living in the Yorkshire Dales. |
