In 1901 living at 40 Lower Rope Walk, George stating profession Stone Mason

In 1881 Richard and Maria living at 20 Moorhouse Buildings. Richard is Railway Guard, both he and Maria born in Knottingley

Thanks twiglet - I know the 1901 census is the right family - the others are probably her also, although she aged 13 years between 1881 and 1891 - however I know from experience that the census takers were not always accurate or carefull!!

Ps -I've had a look at the 1881 census - and although it does list her age as 3 it also lists her as a scholar - so she was probably older than 3!!
