Hi! I'm trying to find some info on Mum's family 'WRIGHT'. They were all from the Birmingham area in England. Grandad Joseph William(1886- c 1950) was a Coal Merchant & haulage Contractor from the early 1900's till long after the war. He was married to my Nan Emma Jemima Jones(1886-1982). They had 7 kids: Joseph William 1910-c1970(Bill), Leonard (Len), Albert Frank(Frank), Florence (Floss), Frances May 1917-2006, Hilda(died in infancy) and my Mum Gertrude Kathleen 1923-2006(married Ernest Naish - a Welshman, in 1945). We emigrated to Australia in 1960. Uncle Bill was in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment for 18years! The other Uncles also joined the army & Mum joined the'Women's Land Army' during WW2. We know that grandad had a big argument with his father when he was young, and took off to Scotland for a time. So does anyone out there know anything about our family? If you do please, please contact me! Stephanie Cunningham (Naish)
