I'm researching the descendants of George Arthur William Young who married Kate Eliza Hardisty in Knaresborough, Yks 10/6/1911. Kate Eliza Hardisty b 4/7/1883, Markington/Yks - George Arthur Willam b 13/4/1881 Tockwith/Yks. They had 2 daughters: Elizabeth b 1911 Yks & Lily b 1915 Durham. Elizabeth married Unknown in ? and lived in Escrick near York (would be 93y today) and Lily never married and was a Matron (nurse), still living (2002), should be 89y old today. George was a farm labourer & gardener (Tockwith/Yks)(Grindon/Durham)(Walsingham/Norfolk). George parents are George Young (b 1846 Bickerton Yks) & Elizabeth Young nee Sweeting (b 1851 Tockwith, Yks). George siblings; Annie Elizabeth, Robert, Sarah ane, Mary Hannah (mar Edward Leeper), Lily Edith, Charles, Elsie, Eleaor, Ellen, Emily............. |
