Blimey Sheila ,you are having a time of it aren't you.I hope that arm heals up and you haven't damaged it too badly.
It sounds to me like it might do you some good to get away,even if you are looking after things for someone else.Don't let yourself get so low ,you can't pull yourself up again.
Let's hope Matt just has a little concussion after the fall and nothing more serious,and that Jessica gets back home soon.So you will be the 'farmer',looking after the livestock !!!.
I think your friend Beryl is rather selfish.Just thinking of herself and not noticing that you are not doing so well.
Is it in the country where you are going?All that clean fresh air will do you the power of good.

I am up so early as I woke about 4 am and then couldn't get back off,so I came down at 6,and have had a nice cuppa.Got the potatoes and veg ready for later.Chester has been out to do what he needed to do and has gone back to bed lol.
I can see a rabbit down the garden munching on an apple.There is no fog or mist this morning and it looks like it will be a nice day.

Ooh I feel exhausted now after typing all this so will lie on the settee with another cup of tea and my book !!!

Morning Early Bird and All,

Well it started raining here about 12am last night and has'nt stopped since!! Got up in the night and it was pelting down.

That bird seed OH put up the road has'nt hardly been touched until today. Now there are about 8 Chaffinches and 9 Sparrows on it. They have found it at last!!! Oh and a Robin right at the top.

Sheila you take care of that arm you are not out of the woods yet. Don't know if it will be much of a rest for you in Wales if you have to look after those animals. Watch the goat as they can give you a nasty nip sometimes. I had two goats back in 1991 but when I moved down here to mums she would'nt let me bring them with me and we have a goat house too. It is full of flowerpots now but would have been lovely for Katie and Barny. We also have two huge stables next to the goat shed.

I'm still around Mel.I reckon everyone else must be having a lie in !!!!
It has turned all cloudy now ,not so nice.I have roast Lamb and a Turkey Breast in the oven,peeled loads of potatoes ,and Hannah has just informed me she is not here for dinner !!Typical.
I am doing Fit'z's mums hot meal at 1 oclock today,and will just pop down again early eve to see to the cat (which I havent' seen at all).The food has gone from last night,but Mrs F says her cat often nips in and eats it .So I don't know which one has had it.

(WET THE BED) I woke at 4.10am but turned over, had quite a bad night. each time I moved my back and arm woke me up. Ache like mad today, so glad it's raining, I won't have to do anything. Dinner all ready for tonight. Roast Beef as usual. Will have it about 6pm. Ros can't eat early these days (Routine)

Lots of light aircraft around here lately, I don't know if they have competitions at Sywell Airport. but the noise drives you mad buzzing around all day. Gives me a headache.

Shelia, you certainly seem to have your hands full at present. Try to take it in your stride, and don't get yourself upset.

I think Fitz's cat may be stuck up the big Yew tree in their garden!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.I t hought I could hear meowing ,but it could be the tree creaking in the wind.I don't know.I can't see any sign as the tree must be a good 30 feet tall if not more.I have put a bowl of food at the bottom and hope if Podge is up there the smell might entice him down.I will go back later and see.I will have to leave a note for them to say,but they aren't back until the early hours.Why does that happen when I am in charge???????

Frank.... Are you up for a challenge.? Would you be able to turn 'Microwave Man' ( my OH) into a guy who could cook lol. Ros is so lucky having a chap who can cook.

Jane... I hope the cat puts in an appearance. They can be little devils at time. I've been fretting about ours for a couple of days, only to find he's taken up residence a few doors up the road. OH reckons it's because of all the upset and he's had enough. We love him to bits too. Oh well, expect he'll be back when it suits him.

Tide was going out when we got to Wells last night ,but we had a good walk round ,lots of people about some family's on a last splurge before the children go back to school tomorrow .

Oh Sheila you do sound as if you have had a bad year, try and have a bit of a rest ,you sound as if you need some me time .

Hope you can find time to relax a little in Wales Sheila with so much going on in your life.

Cold in church this morning I wore a dress to church as I am fed up wearing trousers but wished I hadn't my legs were freezing ,Autumn is on the way and it will be back to woollie socks soon.
Jane I was up at 4 this morning with OH snorering(sp) , when that happens I just go into the spare room to sleep, It was good because it was cooler anyway.
doing a few jobs in the garden today, just a bit of sweeping not over doing it as I am aching more today than I did yesterday.

Just looked at the photo of Fin Jane what a hansome boy in his uniform is he enjoying school ?
Ameilia is coming on too , what big eyes she's got.

There is no way I am climbing a ladder lol.Their garage is locked and all ladders are in there.I know Podge has been stuck up this tree before.I won't be calling out the fire brigade either lol
Trouble is I will be fretting all day now.
Catie,I think Frank sounds an amazing'Chef'.I'm sure your OH could turn out a few things (not from the Microwave)Pasta,Casserole ,Lots of good sauces in jars just to add to meat.He will think he has cooked up a feast lol
Mandy Fin looked lovely in his school uniform,and looks a right cheeky monkey.isn't Amelia gorgeous? Not that I am biased of course lol

Fiona ,Amelia has her Mummy's eyes.So you ,Frank and me were all awake at 4 am.We could have had a good old chinwag here couldn't we lol

Mel are Katie and Barny your children. would like to thank you for your concern . Oh goats are a nightmare last time I stroked the goat it stuck a horn do you call them those things on its head right in my rear it made me jump. The pig was cute Rashers fancy calling a pig Rashers but expect its much bigger now and the sheep well he was just a sheep not doing much but munching grass.I remember Rashers having a back scratch with a stiff brush and soapy water.
he lay there like he was really enjoying it. but then belly flopped into a large disgusting pile of pig swill.

I am packed my suitcase is getting good use this year. There was a lady helping out with the animals in Wales.I think Matt got some animals for Jessica because it is good therapy for her gets her out of the house the tablets she is on make her very tired if shes got to go and feed the animals then she does get out. Birds are nice in gardens get a few in ours I love it when the robins pop in they sit looking me waiting for food. Do you have any horses in the stables. I took the girls today horse riding but the misrable stable owner told me I do not like children coming just once I book lessons of six. She then put both girls on a old knag which had seen better days and gave them 3 turns round a stable yard and charged me £10 .I said I do not want to buy the horse she just stuck her hand out for the money. She did let April look at the ponies but we left straight away after in case she charged us to look have a lovely day mel

Jane thank you for your good wishes too .I never know what to do when I wake early just sit munching loads of toast I do not need. Then Jasper goes into the garden after
dozens of wees up every weed would like to say plants but we do not have any he sits waiting for a walk. I fall asleep after that in the chair then its time in the week for the charity shop when I go. Sophia livens me up with a bellowed good morning beautiful lady she does not see what I see in the mirror thats for sure hardly beautiful.
I am trying not to get low I say no more other peoples problems but all I get from the family is there are people worse off then you. Beryl when I say I am feeling down says oh girl get yourself a young chap that will cheer you up.oh perish the thought we cannot all find a zombie with a big ear ring. well it gives me a laugh best of luck to her
my man might be bald and a bit deaf in one ear mainly when I tell him something he does not want to listen to but

Sheila I had a spell some years back when I could not cope with everyone elses problems.I was working with Victim Support ( so lots of peoples troubles) ,my Mum was diagnosed with Dementia and my best friend whose husband left her went off the rails and I had to cope with her ,until she suddenly died.My OH made me go for councelling (sp) which was the best thing I could have done.I had been so awful to live with (apparently) .I was somehow taught by the chap I went to see that all my anger and frustrations (especially against my friends ex) did me no good and it would not change what had happened.It made a heck of a lot of sense.I have been a different person since and now don't let other peoples problems wear me down,in the same way .I will never again let my family suffer because of me worrying about others.(if you know what I mean)

Sheila ,will you have the use of a computer when you are in Wales to keep in touch ,or will we have to wait until you get home to chat?Is Jasper going with you?

May just have well have been though because I brought them up from 3 hours old. Otherwise they were going in a freezer.

Jane the photos were lovely and nice to keep for future. I have a lovely pic of my son on his first day at school. He was 4 and a half and small for his age and I had the devil of a time finding uniform clothing to fit him. It was a private school and they had to have all the stuff. I found one navy blazer with yellow piping in his size and it was double breasted. He looked so nice.
