Love the pics Mel, your lawn is lovely and your plants and bungalow. I'd love to live in a place like your's. The journal looks good, it didn't look as if there was a problem. You've made a lovely job of it. How wonderful to see those chicks walking across the orchard. |

glad you got home with no trouble Annx I am surprised that you didn't get gridlocked around Gloucester as it is the Tall Ships Festival which the world and his wife seems attracted to. did you stop at Gloucester services for lunch? We sometimes go there just to buy meat as their butchers is great. |

Mel, I slept like a log last night, I was in bed and settled down long before Ros came in, and I didn't feel her get into bed. It was 8.30 before I woke this morning. |

We've seen two baby bobs under the bird feeder this morning. They must be from the hedge robin and his wife. Shed Robin has'nt been taking more than one worm at a time to his wife so I don't knowif they have made another nest or not or if she has laid and more eggs. |

Oh Jane, I'm so glad Thomas is home, it sounds like he was shut in somewhere and glad to be home where he'll feel safe again, he must of been so frightened, good job you didn't go away in the end as it sounds like he needs you both right now. It must of been such a relief to hear him last night, now you can relax and enjoy having him back. No doubt though he'll soon be hunting bunnies and back to his old self again. I bet you wish he could talk to let you know what happened to him. |

That is good news Jane. When daughter's cat Lucas went missing (for about 2 months) we found him not far from home but not where he would have known where he was. He ran, we think, in a thunder storm and got disorientented. He yowled when he saw us and for three or four days would insist on sitting on our laps and the first night he even came and laid in bed with us laying on me.. Strangely we had been staying there when he disappeared and were staying again when he came back. I have to say he soon got back into the habit of wandering. |

O Jane what splendid news. It does sound as though he was shut in somewhere and at least he's not injured. What a silly boy making us all so worried about where he was. I bet you cried with relief when you heard him meowing. So all fed to the brim now and getting plenty of love and cuddles. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 |
