yes Frank you've had a lot of worry lately with Ros and your Sister not knowing whats going on could be playing on your mind.
Oh has cut out the roof and the base and is now painting them both with a black bitumen paint to waterproof them before he starts on anything else. He took the small trailer up and brought those boards down and it a lovely warm day so they should dry.
There will be a lot of thinking going on as to hows the best way to make it up as I know from experience from him making my shed and his filter shed but I know he will get there in the end.
Gill this sickly feeling could just be worry on your part. Try not to think about it too much and hows your ankle now? You may be able to use the machine for the cusion covers if it feels better now. It would be so much quicker than hand stitching.
Must get more washing in the machine.

Morning all
Just woke up after a bad night, I didn't go to sleep until almost 4am, still feeling a little sick but haven't been sick for a few hours, so hopefully that's the end of it. I'm running a bath to see if that helps. I'm now starting to think it's not a bug but the upset of next door. I really will be glad when it's all over, but have a feeling the new neighbour is going to be one of those who complains about everything with him mentioning the rotten bit of wood yesterday. I hope not as I've got enough with Mr Grumpy on the other side.
The workmen have just turned up, only one van so far so we think it's the kitchen fitters as the neighbour said the kitchen should of gone in last Friday.
Pleased to see James didn't cut himself when he broke the glass Jane. So he's giving it a few more months with Jess, I hope if they do decide to split up they remain friends. What time is your new cooker arriving, I bet you can't wait? I'm making 6 cushions for my mum, so far I've completed one, I don't feel like doing it at the moment with feeling a bit sick, I don't think concentrating on small stitches would do me any good until I start feeling more human.
Did your OH get the raspberries and clemitis in okay yesterday AnnG? We've got lovely sun again today although it's not as warm as it has been. The water feature is on and the sun is shinning on it, it looks lovely and sounds even better. I gave up with the error page in the end, I couldn't read any of the posts because I couldn't go back a page, but I know when I post it goes through even if it says error. It seems okay this morning but how long that'll last is anyone's guess.
It sounds like you had a lovely day out yesterday Ann, the church sounds lovely.
Yes, I've been watching the sewing Bee Mandy, Sandra and I love that programme. I record and keep them so we can watch them again. I think it's going to be a good series. I noticed Gardeners World starts again 8th March, if anyone's interested and the F1 starts again on the 16th March, so plenty to look forward to.
How is your OH getting on with the chicken house Mel? It sounds like a big job, will it take him long to do?
Sorry to hear you've had another bad night Frank, I think seeing the doctor is a good idea, you can't keep going on like this. Do you have something on your mind, that might explain why you're having these bad nights? Hope the doctor can help.

Morning all,
Your OH won't want be lugging all that timber around Mel, why on earth didn't the driver come and knock to see where you wanted it.
Life not brilliant for me at the moment. First the BOILER has packed up, so no HOT WATER or CH. Thank goodness we have an electric shower. I had another terrible night last night (so Ros. tells me) when she came to bed,I started on her. Pulling her hair, digging her in the ribs, throwing the covers around and generally making a fuss. I got up at 2.30 for the loo. (don't remember that) got back in bed, turned over and slept till 7.00 am. I feel like a lorry load of manure this morning.!!!!!
I have showered and shaved, and seriously thinking of going back to bed. I don't want breakfast, and hardly ate any on my dinner last night. Something is going on in my body, I really must make an appointment to have a thorough check up. BUT when I think about ringing I feel fine. ;-) ;-) ;-)
I must get Ros to get me to the hairdressers. My hair is almost over my shoulders. :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 Will soon need Ros's Rollers !!!!
Sorry Girls, I haven't read the posts again. But I assume you are all heathy and you are enjoying this lovely weather. After the FROST this morning, the sun is now out, and blue sky's everywhere.

Morning all,
Another frost this mroning but the suns out now so it will soon all be gone.
Making my cuppa just now I noticed something moving in the big archway into the garden. Its the wood being delivered for the new chickens house. Its not supposed to come till tomorrow so oh did'nt have the big trailer up there for it to go on. The lorry can't get through the arch so he takes the trailer up there and then brings it all down on that. Must be a new driver because thats the way we have always done it.
He won't be a happy bunny when he comes back down as this means he has to put it all on the trailer from the ground.

Evening All,
Gorgeous springlike day again after heavy mist this morning. We went to see the Snowdrops. It was a tiny garden with walls all around, but had lots of different Snowdrops and other bulbs. Afterwards we went a ride around some villages and down roads we'd never explored before and came across some Zwartbles!! It was an unusual breed of sheep (I had to look it up when I got home). Just 1 family of a ram, ewe and 2 black lambs. They were so friendly, they came charging across, baaaing away when they saw us stop and more baaaaing as we drove off. The ram was brown with black and white legs and had a white blaze.
Sorry you've had a bad day being poorly Gill. I hope you feel better in the morning after a good sleep. It's a shame you can't use your sewing machine for the cushions. I would be tempted to wait until my ankle was better so I could do them on it. :-0
I hope you get a better night tonight Frank. It's horrid when you are tired but can't sleep or keep waking. Your car wash people charge less than ours as we pay £6! They do clean the side windows inside and put that shiny stuff on the tyres though!
Jane it may be best for them to do that. It will give them chance to each get more used to the idea if they are to split and it doesn't look like there could be a compromise that they would both be happy with. They must both be in turmoil. It's very sad after they have managed to keep a long distance relationship for so long.

Hope you feel better in the morning Gill. Have a nice bath and an early night and I am sure you will feel better tomorrow.
I can't seem to get into any craft at the mo. I may try and finish these flying keys as they are still sitting on the kitchen table waiting for their wings to be stuck on. Then I have to tie the fishing line on them and hang them from a ring of some sort.
Nearly all our snowdrops are over now. They hav'nt seemed to last very long this year but I suppose its cos its been a bit warmer than a usual February. The crocus are still ok, well the ones that the pheasents have'nt trampled and pecked. They even knock the head off one of the big daffs today.

I've been sick all day, it must of been something I've eaten as I woke this morning feeling a bit unwell.
OH's done a daft thing and said he'd put a new piece of wood on the new neighbours side of our fence at the back as the neighbour said it was rotten. I haven't seen it myself, will take a look tomorrow, but the fence itself is okay and strong so I can't see what the problem is. I wouldn't mind but OH gave the impression to the neighbour that we would cover the costs. I'm not a happy bunny I can tell you and now I've got to have a word with the new neighbour to let him know OH won't be putting any wood there as it's not needed.
I think the neighbour doesn't like the look of that side of the fence and just wants it to look better at our expense. I said to OH if he doesn't like the look of it then he should put his own fence up on his side. I'm getting really fed up of men lately, they do and say some silly things sometimes don't they?
As you can see I've not had a very good day. I haven't read the posts will do it tomorrow if I feel better. I'm going to have an early night as I feel awful.

Afternoon All,
Thick mist here this morning too, but then lovely sunshine. After our lamb lunch we went to see the open garden at Great Glen. It was a tiny walled garden, but was full of Hellebores and bulbs including different kinds of Snowdrops. Then we carried on to Kings Norton which has a huge church for the size of the place. When I was a teenager my best friend and I cycled there from the city to see her older brother who was between terms at Cambridge and was having an 'art' whim at the time and was on the green there and painting the church!! I don't think he was that thrilled to have us seeing his handiwork! Then we had a ride around some lanes we'd never been down before and I stopped to take a photo of what looked like a family of possibly rare breed sheep. There was a tup and ewe and 3 jet black lambs. The tup had horns and a white blaze, light brown body and brown spotted white legs. As soon as we stopped, there was so much baaaing as they ran towards us......they were so tame and not a bit scared of us.
Jane, maybe in a few more months they will be more certain and be more able to come to terms with it. Just now James has enough to think about with his job. It does sound as if it's something that they won't be able to find a compromise on. It's the dishwasher plug right behind it that was our problem to get to. The chap who fitted our kitchen said it was dangerous there as they can overheat so he moved it, but I still need to get to the back of the cupboard!!
Gill, what a nuisance not being able to use your sewing machine for the cushions. You would have whipped them up in no time with a machine as well.
Sorry to hear you had a terrible night Frank. Nothing worse than tossing and turning all night and not being able to sleep. At least you got dinner prepared early.Touch wood I have been sleeping better lately. Your Eastern Europeans charge £1 less than ours, ours charge £6, but they do clean the inside of the windows and put that shiny stuff on the tyres.

I cleaned out the big girls this morning then did the big breakfast and then felt shattered after huffing and puffing to send you lot sunshine. Now I am exhausted.
Oh has been watching the back of his eyelids and has just come out. I hav'nt washed up since lunch so I better go and do that and corn the girls.
Jane when you say they are giving it another few months do you mean together or apart?

James is home. Apparently they are going to give it a few more months :-S :-S I was really hoping that wouldn't happen . He doesn't want to talk . I have asked all I can. Might get more out of Hannah when we speak.
Glad the sun arrived AnnG :-D It is still lovely here.Long may it last. I'm not suprised you feel like havng 40 winks Mandy. Put your feet up with that cuppa :-D Max will be relaxing in the sun now I expect :-D recharging his batteries. Just cleaned the main bathroom and got wet feet from having to stand in the bath to do the shower screen . Now James is going to have a bath!!!!. I don't think I should have bothered . The corner carousel cupboard is all cleared out now ready for the new cooker to be wired in. I can't understand why the plug is in there. It is a heck of a job to get to. Just had to leave this post for a few minutes as I coudl hear Thomas doing his Mewing thing when he has caught something. It was a Baby Bunny he had brought into the back porch. :-(.Thankfully not alive. Or at least I hope not as it is now in a bag in the black bin. Thomas is still looking for it !!!. We are always tired after they've gone AnnG but we love having them now because as they get older they will be off with their friends and we won't see them so much.
Your OH will be tired tonight if he's had all day out there ,it's knowing when to stop isn't it ,I tend to keep going and then I feel it in my back the next day.

something worked Jane as the sun came out at about 1.20 and it is lovely now. OH will be tired tonight he has been out there tidying and cutting all day. Difficult for your sister without a car Jane Public transport is not the best there is it? Don't be surprised if James doesn't want to talk about things Jane, He may need time to come to terms with it on his own.
Mandy, it is surprising how tired we can feel after the children have gone isn't it? :-) Still it is worth it to see them.

Afternoon all,
No fog here this morning bit chilly first thing but the sun soon came out and it's lovely and warm . Katie has gone home now so as usual were all worn out here including Max who is usually my shadow but when Katie's here it's her he follows about .
Ann that studio will be ideal for a lovely crafting room ,it will be lovely in the summer to just have those doors pushed back and to be able to see all the garden . I should think those Forensics and Crime Investigation sessions will be good what a shame they are on beading day ,would the ladies meet on another day do you think ?
Another bad night Frank you'll have to have forty winks this afternoon .
I feel like having forty winks i don't think i sleep as sound when the children are here .
Gill what a shame you carn't use the sewing machine because of your knee ,it would have been so much quicker than hand sewing . Have you been watching the sewing bee ?
I expect you'll know more once James gets home Jane ,if he feels like talking ,it's sad but better it happens now than after they had married ,perhaps with Hannah getting married it got them talking about things and then it all came to a head with what they both wanted and it wasn't the same thing .
Better make a cuppa my mouth is really dry .

Morning All YOu have all been busy chatting . The sun is shining again here too. Iwill try and push it to you AnnG. maybe with Mel wafting hers and me giving ours a shove it eill get to you :-D
I am going to go with the flow too Mel. I wont be doing much as my Arthritis in my thumb/wrist joint is really painful .I can hardly grip anything. I will peel the potatoes and get them parboiled for later. I don't know what time James will be home. Hannah sent me a message last night just to say he was back at hers and was ok.I am assuming it is all over as she said this morning they were going to go for a walk and have a chat. I do feel very sad for James and Jess as they have been together for so long now. No doubt I will hear from Hannah when James leaves hers.
It seems very quiet here. Not much traffic noise from the A14 and no rumbling trucks from over the way.As long as one of the neighbours doesn't start up with a chain saw or something it could be a really peaceful day... Watch this space :-D
Frank you must feel exhausted after yet another bad night . An easy and lazy afternoon is in order for you I think.
Gill ,how many cushions have you got to make for your Mum? Hand stitching is going to keep you busy !.
Does anyone watch the Icelandic programme Trapped? It is the second series . I really enjoy this . I think Liz used to watch the first series.I have got used to subtitles now and have no trouble following .
My Sisters car came to the end of its life yesterday. It has had to go for scrap :-(. So they are without a car now. I have said she could have mine for a while if it would help but I think they will be able to get by with using her Daughters car sometimes.
Yes the ERROR thing is a pain again .It just seems constant at the moment but I post and know my post still goes up. They do need to get it sorted.
Gill,James didn't cut himself on the glass thank goodness. But what a silly thing to do.
Time ot peel these potatoes.. Peace has gone Next door cutting the lawn !!

Terrible night last night. In bed and reading by 9.45. still awake when Ros came in at 12.30. Still awake at 2,00 am. Was up at 6.00 am.Read my book for an hour then prepared dinner for later. . Morning Gill and AnninG,
Same here this morning thick mist which has liftednow and the suns shining its head off. The sky is blue and it makes you feel great except the dust which likes to show up in the sun light.
Nothing planned for today so will just go along with the flow. May go in the garden and do something may not........ but I HAVE TO CLEAN THNE GIRLS OUT TODAY!!!
Got so fed up with the Error Page this morning I reported it again. Sometimes I can't even get on here when I click on their logo and it takes years to get to where you want to go. By that time I have forgotten what I was going to tell you all.
One of my lovely Valentine roses has conked out so I must see to that this morning and perhaps cut a bit more off the others stems and change the water.

good morning all, thick fog here so far this morning, I hope it is going to lift. Here in the valley it can last all morning when there is no wind. :-)
