Well we are warn out ,we've been out in the garden all day ,it's now turned really chilly here too . We had Chinese for our tea ,the pizza has gone in the fridge for tomorrow ,i felt to tired to even get the salad ready ,lazy or what !!! :-D
I must remember to watch Home Fires tonight if i can keep awake ,last week i forgot and had to watch it on catch up !!
I had some of those Tumbling Tom tomatoes the year before last ,we had lots of tiny toms on them and they are lovely and sweet . I can just see some tiny cues starting to form on my Cucumer plants ,i must get some canes in them they are starting to lean over . My Hosta's are really getting quite big now in the pots ,i have put plenty of slug pellets round them as i see one leaf has been got at !!

Yes Liz got them all now twice!!!! Love your really dark tulips. I had some like that once but the last lot I bought came out lighter.
Just had a look at my runners I put in yesterday and I forgot to cover them up last night and they look a bit bitten with the cold night. Shall have to find something to put round them tonigt.

No pics here yet either Liz.Maybe they take a while to get through. If my two start bitching at each other I just stay well out of it lol.Luckily it is never anything major.Just irritating silliness . Hannah's friend who left for a year in Spain has just posted her first message on her blog.It seems after lots of tears at the airport (leaving) she met 10 people in the first day !!!!.All young people travelling or on holiday. So hopefully no more soggy tissues now.I think she was most upset about leaving her dear old dog Sam :-(

Did you forget me Liz as I hav'nt had any pics yet?
Had our big breakfast and I think I was getting a migrain just as I sat sown to eat I could see flashing light in my left eye so I took a paracetamol whilst eating and it seems to have cleared it but I just want to sleep now.
Clouded over a bit here now too.

There is certainly a brisk wind here today, but it's dried the washing a treat, and it's all folded and put away!! I know what you mean about 'grating'Jane!!!! I find that living an hour away and ' 'Seeing you soon but not too soon'!! (and not for TOO long!!) works well with both of our 'young people'!! They tend to rub each other too, and then I'm pig in the middle, which is a very uncomfortable place to be!! I usually retreat and play the old lady card!!! Lunch nearly ready and then that's it for today. Cassie is full of beans today, so OH has taken her into the field for a good run!! I've sent a couple of pics of Cassie taken yesterday.

Mandy the deboned chicken is the EASY COOK range. There are 2.My favourite is the one with Tomato and parmesan marinade. The other is a Honey and Mustard. It is 2 Chicken Breasts and thighs. I actually feel little chilly now.We had sun all morning but now it has clouded over. Hair Straighteners have just arrived :-D. Feet up for you this afternoon Mandy. If you haven't anything important to be doing why not :-D.I wake every morning as soon as the birds start the Dawn Chorus. It seems to be getting earlier and earlier :-S.It was just after 4 this morning. So then I have to get up for a wee and then have a little read on the kindle.I had a really stuffy nose when I woke. Then I checked the windows and CHRIS had shut them :-| :-|..We are going to come to blows soon . :-S :-S Fiona is around on FB Mel.I did the pic of her poor hand and it does look sore. I think I would be itchy cleaning out Chooks lol.I didn't realise that sunflower oil gets rid of the mites. Chris has just hung up 2 baskets of tumbling tomatoes. There are quite a few little ones already :-D
Hannah and are beginning to grate each other .We haven't spent this much time together since she was living at home !!!!...and I still have this week and then the 3 nights in Plymouth with her!!!.Heck......

Afternoon all, Quite breezy here today the sun keeps trying to peep through and when it does it is lovely and warm, we sat out for our coffee and the next minute the wind had lifted the garden brolly up and out of it's stand , we have been in the garden again hubby's still cutting wood and i have been stacking it away, don't half get your back though !!
Shame you couldn't enter little Cassie ,never mind i expect there will plenty more chances to enter her when she's old enough, i expect she got quite excited seeing all the other dogs .
I expect Frank will be nearly there by now, i think he said with stops it takes them about four hours so if they left at ten they should be well on their way.
I still haven't tried the deboned chiken Jane ,i must see if i can get to Waitr*se some time time this week and get one,we've got Pizza tonight with salad .
Hubby's having a nap ,i feel as if i could join him ,i didn't have a very good night i just kept tosing and turning for most of the night.

Gosh it's going to be really quiet on here today............... :-(
Cleaned the big girls out and painted their perches with used sunflower oil to keep the mites away. I save it up and then when I have a lot I do the perches and the sockets they go in. I always feel itchy when I have been in the chicken house. Yuk.
Fiona has'nt been on here for a while. I did have an email from her the other day and she still has her poor itchy hand. I do wish her doc could give her what I had as thats cleared mine up fine.

Morning/Evening.....well Afternoon really :-D.I have been out and bought a pair of sandals .Nothing glam ,just another pair with a nice cushioned bottom and lightweight. Then a bit of a shop in Tes** .The smell of the Rape there is unbearably strong. It is in the fields on the other side of the A14 and the breeze is blowing it across.
Not a lot happening here either.I think Chris is going to cut the lawn ,Hannah is listening to a Seminar with earphones in.I have been told not to disturb her for the next hour.James and Jess are getting themselves a bite of lunch .I will be cooking the delicious deboned chicken x2 later. One just isn't quite enough for 5 of us :-D Jess is going home this evening so it will be back to 4 .
I hope Frank and Ros are well on their way or even there.I don't know what time they were setting off. I need to keep my ears open now for the doorbell as Hannah's straighteners will be here between 1 and 2 and Chris says he is expecting something also, but he hasn't been given a delivery time. You have to watch some of these couriers as we have had times when a card has just been put through the letterbox saying we were out or that something has been left at a different house EVEN THOUGH WE KNOW WE WERE IN !!!
Right i think I might have a bit of lunch.

Morning all and evening Kim,
Bit cloudier here today but still quite bright with some sunshine.
Nothing much going on here either Liz we shall have our big breakfast as usual and just pickle about like you two and then cheese and biscuits tonight so not much cooking today and nice food.
Bet Ann slept well last night and if the weather is like it is here today it won't be so bad but they can have completely different weather down in Cornwall. It could be really nice and sunny there. At least that wind seems to have dropped here. It was really quite chilly yesterday.

It didn't really matter about the show, it was just nice to have an afternoon with our son and to be able to have a chat with him on my own so to speak! something that doesn't happen often these days! The phone isn't quite the same!!!! Today we are pickling about not doing anything very much. I think the grass needs cutting, also I shall change the bed, so apart from getting lunch, that's it for today!!!

Thats not fair Liz. I bet you were disappointed to find she could'nt go in the puppy class but just being there was a good experience for her. I bet she likes to meet the other dogs and it sounds like you all had a good day together.
I never got in the garden today as the wind was so cold and I was'nt going out there in that.

Oh what a pity Liz.Hopefully Cassie will have been watching and getting some good tips for when she is old enough .We have all been waiting with baited breath for a win . It sounds like it was a good afternoon anyway :-D
Chris and I are fed now .I have cleared all our dirty plates and dishes, and it is now James's turn in the kitchen.I am staying well out of it now :-D
I think I shall be off to bed before long.I feel totally pooped and I haven't done much at all today. I hope our Frank has enjoyed the Garden Party and is going to get a good night sleep tonight ready for the journey to Devon in the morning.Bet he can't wait to get a whiff of the good sea air :-D..That is what I am looking forward to :-D
Saying Night Night now.See you all in the morning x

Oh what a shame Liz Cassie couldn't enter, I bet you were gutted. It sounds as thought you had a good time with your son and his partner though and the weather was kind to you too. Give Cassie a cuddle from Sandra and I, she's a winner in our eyes <3

We've had such a lovely afternoon. The show was great, but unfortunately Cassie couldn't go into the ring as she isn't old enough!!! Dogs have to be a minimum of 6 months old! (kennel club rules!) so she had to watch from the guidelines!! The weather was pretty good, a bit windy, but the sun was lovely. Son and partner were in very good spirits and it was lovely to see them. I hope everyone enjoys their time away and that the weather is kind!

Well what a lovely time we all had at Fitz's.The sun shone and we ate out on the terrace.I even caught the sun a bit.I wish we hadn't eaten so much as I am now doing dinner.Steak ,Chips,Mushrooms and Tomatoes and Peas. I must have missed where Frank has gone to this Garden Party.Where is it?At least he has a lovely evening for it :-D
Yes hannah has ordered some new straighteners .They should be here tomorrow !!!!Desperate or what LOL .I actually like her hair when it has a bit of body and not straightened. It looks lovely when it is more natural. She has just dried it tonight (before she went out) with the hairdryer and a brush......She thought she looked a bit like the little blonde girl who used to do Petit Filous Yoghurt adverts :-D :-D.Anyone remember that?.I don't know why a good set of Straighteners are so expensive. Most were about the £125 mark but after a good look on the internet she got the ones she wanted for £88.We bought the ones she had several years ago so they did actually last a good time.I said it was a good thing they didn't pack up the day before she goes off to America. She would have been really stuck .That is just 3 weeks away now !!!I think June 7th.
I can smell BBQ coming over the hedge from next door.I bet there have been quite a few done today with the sunshine.
Yes Ann and OH should be well settled in now in Cornwall.Hopefully the traffic wasn't too bad.I am thinking when Hannah and I go down to Plymouth it might well be heaving being the start of the B/H weekend....I hadn't realised that when I booked the chalet :-S.Also there is a National Train Strike on B/H Monday. The day we drive back. Chris said he will drive Hannah back to London on the tuesday as the railways could still be a bit iffy delays etc.Hannah is quite pleased to get a lift as she wants to get bags of compost ,and where she lives she would have to have them delivered. Also Chris is giving her a load of bedding plants .
I bet little Cassie will be snoring her little head off now.I do hope she won a prize :-D
Mushrooms,Tomato and chips cooked so i better get on with the steaks now.

Evening all,
It's been a lovely sunny day here and we've been out in the garden nearly all day ,hubby has been cutting up wood and i've been weeding and planting up some more plants i bought from the garden centre this morning , we've had several stops for cuppas too.
It's surprising how much better you feel after a good nights sleep Gill, i seem to get more done when i've slept well, and i think the nice sunny days help too .
Hope Hannah has managed to get some new straighteners Jane , i remember you saying once before that she had some and how expensive they are to buy !!
I expect Ann and OH have arrived in Cornwall by now and will be settling in after the journey down , i hope they get some good weather ,i think here next week we should have a showery week.
Frank will be knocking them back now at the party !! don't suppose Ros will have much to drink as she will be driving tomorrow .
I wonder if Cassie has won a prize today ,she such a little dear .
