Weather doesn't know what to do. when the sun comes out it's very warm, but then it's gone again as quick as a wink, Then the cold breeze hits you. Very cloudy in the West, so it could be coming from MEL. !!!!

Madam has the Kratch## all charges up, and is doing the inside windows in the kitchen, I did offer, but she wanted to do them herself

The sky is as black as your hat now, so I expect the rain to come again.

That's good OH is on the mend Mel but what a shame if you are going to go down with the same thing now..I take it you won't be going far either today !!!!

The sun looks like it might be coming out so I am going to pop out and get the bird food.

Would have been my paternal grans birthday today. she would have been 120.

don't get plastered in spots.it is such a miserable thing to have,So is Shingles so lets hope that you are going too be spared that.

It's certainly not cold here.I have had to turn the heating right down.I don't think much will be happening here today.I might just go and get more bird food and eggs but that is all.Hannah is sprawled on the settee so I can't see her doing much either lol I think I heard her come home at 3am but as she isn't quite with it yet I can't ask her.I am guessing it was a good party :-D

You poor little G'children Fiona, get the camomile lotion out, and keep the spots covered. You might need to put gloves on the little ones to stop them scratching.

No plans for today, other than getting dinner prepared for this evening. Then it will be my book and a bit of football on the Radio.

Sorry to hear Sofia and Matteo have chickenpox Fiona, I think the time it's passed on is near the end so you might be ok, You'll need to keep away from them for a few weeks to be on the safe side. Hope the little one's are not to ill with it.

We were hoping to go out today but the weather is awful, it's pouring with rain and very cold, so we've decided to stay indoors and watch some films we've recorded instead.

Just had a phone call from Victoria, the family won't be down to dinner as Sofia & Matteo have chickenpox :-0 :-|, poor souls, just thinking I hope i don't get shingles as i was looking after Matteo on Friday.

Mel it sounds like your OH has more than an upset tummy. PLEASE get the Dr to call, It sounds similar to what I was like years ago. NOT NICE and will need treatment.

The heating has been on all afternoon and evening. I am so glad we got the gardening done earlier in the week, as I don't think we will want to be out there tomorrow or Monday. :-( :-(

No good me wanting to change stations Liz, You women go weak at the knees about new babies, and Ros was glued to the T.V.

I see Ruth Rendel has passed away aged 85. I liked a lot of her plays on the tele.

Cassie is three months old now Gill, and getting quite a big girl although she has a long way to go till she's full grown!
TV complete rubbish tonight, so it's a film for us, then bed!!
Mel, maybe you should get the duty doctor to visit your OH if he goes on feeling I'll. We got ours out when OH had a urine infection some weeks ago and they were so good and kind from the nurse on the phone to the doctor who visited, and certainly put our minds at rest.

Sorry to hear your OH still isn't well Mel. If it's been a while maybe he should call a doctor out, instead of waiting until the end of the bank holiday. Hope he's feeling better soon.

Thanks for the photo's of Cassie, Sandra loves the one of her standing over the sofa arm and thinks she's so cute. She's getting big, how old is she now. The last photo I saw of her she was a tiny little thing asleep in her bed.

I saw the pics of Kate and William's daughter online. I've only just finished catching up with all the programs I recorded when Michelle was here with Sandra, so didn't catch it on TV.

It's been very cold here today as well Frank and I had to put our heating on. I can't remember the last time I had to put the heating on in May, I really wish the weather would improve so I can get out in the garden. OH managed to cut the grass the other day but there is so much more that needs doing. With all the rain we've had today the garden is now to wet to work in. On a positive though the blossom is coming out on our big apple tree and the blue bells are out so the garden is looking quite pretty in places.

Oh dear Frank that's a bit hard! You can always watch another channel! We have watched from beginning to end in order to get our money's worth!! It's certainly better than the election!!
Finished supper and cleared up. OH giving Cassie a game of ball outside, she should be tired by bedtime!!

He's had chicken soup and now a teacake plain and a drop of tonic water. He won't drink water. I am cooking a chicken crown with boiled rice for dinner.

I think he is ill and I may be losing a bit of weight.

I have come away from the T.V. Alright she has had a BABY, but do we need it STUFFED down our throats. It just gets to much for me, like the Bloo#y Election.That Dicky Arbiter went on like this was the first baby ever to be born, and all that CRA# about William protecting his family !!!! Come on, I am a Royalist as are so many people, but enough is enough.

It was so cold this morning, I had to put my heavy coat on when walking to the pub.

I have turned the heating on, as well as putting on a jumper.

We're not particularly royalists, but would rather have the royal family than some grim/ unsatisfactory (?!!!!) old president in his bullet proof car and his grim old wife/husband! at least the royals are colourful, and the cavalry and razamataz must lift the hardest heart (and they bring in the tourists!!) Jane, they're leaving sometime after 6.30?!! so keep tuned in!!!

Well I got some Mandy!! :-D :-D So thank you for mentioning them on here. There was only the pretty pink that I could see but that was the colour I wanted. :-D They are healthy looking plants too and just the size I wanted to get.

Jane what a nuisance about your car. Surely it can't be good for tyre wear with it pulling to the side. Have a look here on the captur owners site and read right down. This person had what sounds like the same problem and it turned out to be a failed rear suspension bush that was causing it. I would ring your garage and ask if they have tried that and if not ask them if they would. Your garage could do the same and borrow one from a showroom car to try it. If one has failed like this person's has maybe there was a faulty batch of them and your car has a faulty one too?

How irritating to have such a loud chatty passenger. Often it is someone on a mobile that raises their voice to speak.......why do they do that?? I must have a look at that site you put up.

Mel I only take immodium if I have to travel as taking it stops the problem but is also stopping the bugs leave your body as quickly which is what your body is trying to do so you get better quickly. Have you done the thing you were doing with the blown eggs yet? :-)

You're telling me Jane!!! We've now bought everything we need for Cassie, as you say it hasn't been cheap, but she is bringing us so much pleasure it's well worth it!!
I managed to do a bit of gardening this afternoon so I feel quite pleased. Tomorrow afternoon we've been asked to a Young Farmers country fair which is being held just over the way from us so we're hoping it'll be fine as we've been asked to take Merlin, and Cassie (of course)
Scrambled egg bacon and baked beans for supper tonight cooked by OH! Chicken tomorrow, cooked by me!!

Mel,while OH is still having the squits he really needs to keep an empty tummy of food and just stick to the fluids.Food free for 24hrs (if poss).If he is still the same when the surgery reopens after B/H then I think you need to make an appointment or get a visit if he is unable to go.
Liz you are right saying about when the 'children' had a car to go out in at night..I would keep getting up and looking out the window to see if car was in the drive.If not then I couldn't settle.Thank goodness those days have gone now :-D

I bet when OH works on a Saturday it makes you all confused in the week with what day it is lol.I used to be like that when Chris worked at a weekend.

My car apparently has nothing wrong with it.I was told when I picked it up this morning that I could take any other Renault Capture they have for test drives just to see how they compare with mine.It seems they all have this slight pull to the left.I actually thought that was a good for them to offer .It must be a quirk with this particular model.
But nothing to worry about..I still wish I had kept my Scenic .I have had 3 of them over the years and that has been my favourite car.
I also mentioned when I took the car in that the air con smelled like a musty old dish cloth :-S :-S..They sorted that .Just needed a clean and re gas.(whatever a re gas means!!)
