Hi all
I've just emailed a photo of Sandra blowing out her candles to everyone, can you let me know if it worked. I've sent it to Ann, Mandy, Maureen, Jane, Ruby, Fiona, Frank and Mel. Have I missed anyone out? These are all the emails address's I had. Not sure if I've done your email address right Mel. Hopefully I have but if you don't receive it let me know and I'll try again.
Still haven't read the posts so I'll do that now. If the emails went though ok for everyone I'll send the rest. Just want to make sure it worked first. <3

Morning my sweet things, evening Kim,
Another breezy morning here with plenty of clouds. Looks like we might get the rain after all. With all the gadgets they have now, you would think they could get the forecast correct, once in a while. :-0 :-0 :-0
Madam has just called to say the bathroom is empty. She's just showered and washed her hair.
Has your OH been messing about round the pond Mel, Years ago I caught CAMPERBACTOR (sp) from cleaning out the bird bath, and eating a piece of cake before washing my hands. I thought I was going to die for TWO WEEKS. The local Health Authority band me from any local eatery until I was declared clear.
Of course Ann knows Fitz, from her little "JOLLIES" out with Jane. So knows all about his excitement. !!!
They were cheap plants Mandy. How many did you buy ??
I will try to watch Bear on catch up later today, if madam decides to go out later ot into the garden.
My turn in the shower now, so will see you later.

Morning all and evening Kim,
Horrid day here today, dull, windy and cold such a difference from yesterday.
I have rung the docs and the test was normal so have to go back to the doc on Wednesday for an internal!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh seems a bit better this morning and said he has'nt slept so much before. I slept in the spare room and have hip ache this morning but that could have been all the walking about I did yesterday.

Jane it seems to have stopped now. He had a drop of tonic water a while ago then went back to sleep and had just been up for a wee. He won't drink boiled water except in coffee or tap water in juice in the summer but thats the only way he will drink water. I did him some boiled water but he would'nt touch it. the thing is he has'nt been anywhere to pick up a bug usless I had it in a different way and he got it from me.
Think I may have another bowl of cornflakes for my tea.

Jane I drove us all the way home from Cornwall once when OH had toothache and lots of painkillers so I know what you mean. He slept a lot of the way back which was far better than him trying to drive.
That made me chuckle about Fitz as I could just picture the scene. He is so enthusiastic when something new crops up for him to see I can imagine the arms going like you say. lol. :-)

Crikey Mandy........I should have sent you shopping for my geraniums at those prices!! lol I didn't know Li*ls had bedding plants.
I bet your poor OH has felt a bit grim today Mel. Hopefully it is out of his system now and he will feel a bit better. Sounds like he picked up a bug.
I can't stand EE either Frank. It's a soap I just couldn't get into. It is never on in our house.
Better sort my beads out for tomorrow's necklace now, I keep forgetting.

Glad the new car is a hit Ann :-D..Chris wouldn't let me drive his new one for ages.If I remember correctly the first time I drove it was when we arrived back at Birmingham Airport and Chris was suffering from a very painful tooth abscess .He got in the car to drive and i just 'got my bossy hat on' and told him there was no way i was going to be a passenger with him driving in that state.(He was almost out of it on painkillers). I know what you mean about the fierce brakes.I drove Chris's car today and his brakes are so different from mine.I nearly said hello to the windscreen.Safety belt held me back :-D :-D
Mel have OH's both ends settled down now? Must be a bug if it is nothing to do with what you have both eaten. It was a pity we didn't eat outside today. The sun was lovely but the wind was just too much.Fitz was just in a gesticulating mood ,hence the wine going over. Ann I blame you LOLOLOL (not really) we were discussing all the things you have discovered (for Fitz). And he just gets carried away :-D :-DThat is when the arms start going :-D :-D
Any news from your In laws Ann?Are they still at the hospital?

It's only me !!!
Blooming E E is on. So I came to the pooter to donate some money for the disaster . Once that was done, I thought I would pop in.
There is a very old saying that "if you chop of a certain persons arms they wouldn't be able to talk" I will go no further than that, but I expect a lot of you have heard the saying. You would have thought Fitz would have made sure the glass's were empty, before knocking them over. :-D :-D :-D At least they didn't mark the carpet.
Bright blue sky out there now, with a beautiful sunset. They mentioned on the forecast, that we might not get the rain promised until Sunday.
Sorry to hear your OH is not well Mel, What's he had, A BAD BOTTLE OF SCRUMPY" ;-) ;-) ;-)
I didn't know Bear Gryles was on T.V. Which channel is it on ??? I will then watch it on catch up.
Enjoy your trip to the SMOKE tomorrow Jane, don't get lost <3 <3 <3
Time for a cold beer. Have a good evening, see you in the morning.

O I had'nt seen all the posts!!
Ann I bet G is grinning all the time now he has his new car. He will keep looking out the window to make sure it is still there.
Sounds like Fitz got a bit excited today knocking over TWO glasses of wine. Shame it was indoor though. It's been a beautiful day here today not much wind and quite warm as I have been out there in my jumper which I hav'nt done for a long while.
Gill it was so nice for Michelle to be there for sandra's birthday and be able to stay for a few days. You will all miss her now she has gone home. Bet the first thing she does is put her new curtains up.
Ann MIL and FIL will never learn now at their ages they are so set in their ways but you would think that common sense would tell them to put the dvd's down lower where they can reach them. I think a stool is worse than the steps. I can just imagine it. So they both went off together to the hospital. Perhaps its a good thing for them both to get checked over. They can't be in better hands than the hospital.
Mandy your geraniums were a bargan at that price. I need to replace a couple I have had for years as instead of bringing them in this year I put them in the shed but they got frosted. I managed to save one out of seven.

Oh has been ill today sick both ends. I don't think it was our spag bol last night as I had the same as he.
I have had a day of washing up things in the shed and brought some nicce big pots down from the tunnel for my toms and cue plants. Washed a load of cane caps, some probagaters, labels, and other bits and pieces. Done two lots of washing and swept out the bantams, fed the pheasents and wild birds and now I am going to have a ciggy and a cuppa out in the garden as oh is asleep. All I have eaten today is a bowl of cornflakes, a cuppa first thing and a coffee so I think I have earned it now.
I have been to the hsop up the road and got some bits and bobs and picked up my other prescript. Must remember to phone tomorrow to see if I need antibotics.

Just saw your post Mandy........yes, he's always let me drive his cars........he's not daft!! Before he retired, guess who was left to sort his car problems out and limp his car to the garage/tyre place when needed..........while he sailed off into the sunset in mine!! lol. I think he may be thinking that I might be more inclined to drop him off at some footie matches if I like driving and parking this car and then come and collect him at the end!! There had better be a good bead shop nearby or somewhere for me to visit if I do. :-) If you are looking for plants I saw some really good ones at Sainsbu*ys today.......including lovely geraniums £1 cheaper than some I got the other day. This year they seem to have really expanded the bedding plants there as I have never seen racks and racks of them outside before.

Mandy, Fitz is a liability LOL..I have never seen anyone use their arms and hands like he does when talking. They fly all over the flipping place. This is why I don't like being in his car when he is driving !!His hands are never on the steering wheel.
Gill I bet those few days with Michelle went so fast.I expect Sandra will miss her again now. Quiet day for you then today Frank :-D At least your lawns are done .Looks like it might be a wet weekend :-S..Typical for a Bank Holiday Weekend. I can't believe it is May tomorrow. This year seems to be flying .Christmas will be here before we know it :-S :-S

I got it wrong about the steps! they had bought new ones, but OH said it was MIL's perching stool that was being put on a little table to get up to the shelves......still just as dangerous though.
Yes the car arrived at midday! A really nice man brought it up from London and was taking the old one to the car auction at Coventry after it had been cleaned. The truck and trailer were at the bottom of the close after the new one was unloaded and was where the trees were chopped down and our neighbour came out thinking the builder had arrived, so came over for a chat!
OH had been excited all morning and had been rechecking nothing was left in the old car several times ........but still forgot to take out my seatbelt neck protector so I'll have to get a new one. Then as we set off for lunch he handed me the keys to drive it first!!!! I wasn't expecting that but he has no 'male' ego about these things and wants me to get used to driving it. I drove his old car, but it was big and awkward in small parking spaces, even though it was brilliant for long journeys. I am higher up in the new car and can actually see a bit of bonnet. It's lovely to drive although the super sensitive brakes were a surprise at first. OH drove it back and is really happy with it. We went to the farm shop and supermarket on the way back and filled up with fuel.
We hadn't been back home long when MIL rang to say that FIL had fallen again getting up out of his chair. The assessor yesterday had told her (in addition to ourselves and the doctor in the past!!) to phone 111 if that happened and this time she did. It seems it was only because he couldn't get back up this time though. As soon as he did manage to get back up she rang them again, but the paramedics insisted on still coming. They've checked him over and found he has a slow heart rate so have taken him and MIL to the local hospital to see a cardiologist.
It's good they are keeping your car overnight Jane. It sounds like they are determined to get to the bottom of it this time! Fancy Fitz knocking over TWO glasses of wine .....what a waste!! lol. Lucky it was white as you say. Yes, he does wave his arms about a bit as he talks. OH does it too.......and when he's driving........and when he's on the phone!! lol. Maybe it''s a man thing. ;-)
You haven't had a lazy day if you cut both lawns Frank! Good idea to have a few breaks though. There's no rush like when time was short when you were working as well. I like cold new potatoes as well.
We have red brick sills where the windows are down the side of the bungalow and I gave them a good scrub this morning. The lichen won't come off so I'll try some of the Wet and Forget Mel mentioned when we do the patio. I got some off the internet.
Looking forward to seeing your pics Gill. :-)

Evening all,
Funny old day here bit of sun ,bit of cloud and a very heavy hail shower the ground was white !! the wind has made it feel a cold day too. Yesterday we seemed to have been on the go all day ,got lots of jobs done so that was good ,today we went to a garden centre ,they were getting geared up for the weekend ,i expect there will be loads of people buying plants ,all i bought was a new pair of gardening gloves .
Lovely photo's of Cassie Liz, you can see she has grown ,isn't she a good girl asking to go out and sitting and staying ,you must have been working really hard with her .
Ann , you must wonder what your FIL will be doing next !! fancy standing steps on a table !! he's one lucky man not to have slipped off the table. I bet MIL was at the bottom of the stairs trying to hear what was being said !! How is the new car ? are you allowed to have a drive in it :-D OH will be away to his football matches now ;-) :-D
Oh dear Jane poor Fitz :-D sounds as if he would be lost without his arms to explain things :-D Have a lovely day tomorrow with Hannah .
We have beautiful blue sky out there now .

Afternoon All
Ann I am so glad the assessor made MIL stay downstairs when they need to assess the bathroom things..They obviously could see what she was like :-DAs for putting a little set of steps on a table and then climbing on !!!!!!! well I wouldn't even attempt that.
Has the new car arrived now? I bet you are both out having a lovely drive out and about. Frank my car has gone in with the same problem of drifting to the left.Just had a call fro the garage to say they would like to keep it for tomorrow to do some more tests .So i am guessing they might have come across a problem.maybe or maybe not . I will pick it up on Saturday morning. Fitz came for lunch!!!!!!.I wish he would keep his arms still when he talks as he managed to knock over 2 glasses of wine. The first one was within minutes of him sitting down........Ann you know what I mean about his arms and hands.I told him to sit on them.I am so glad it wasn't red wine as it went all over the carpet. :-S :-S Now the big decision of the day is What to wear tomorrow when I go to London.Something cool and comfortable.
