Another LAZY day, apart from doing both lawns. I thought if the weather is going to be wet tomorrow, I would get them done out of the way. I had to sit down a few times while doing them, but I have plenty of time :-D :-D :-D

Ros is trimming the edge of the back lawn now, as I couldn't face doing it this morning.

Glad you had a nice couple of days with Michelle Gill, now you will need a little time to get over it. Shopping will keep you busy.

Everybody has been quiet today, I bet you will chat tonight when I'm not around.

Michelle has gone back to Leeds now so Sandra and I are catching up on all our programs we've recorded this week.

I've got some photo's of her birthday so will email them to everyone tomorrow.

I haven't read any post yet so will catch up tomorrow afternoon as I have to go shopping in the morning.

Ann, Your OH has the patients of a SAINT. with his MUM. It's a wonder he hasn't pulled his hair out with her goings on !!! Fancy putting steps on a table and climbing up them. The thought of it turns my tummy. :-0 :-0 :-0 Enjoy your ride out in the new car.

Mel, Can't you get that plastic covering, that you see round new trees on the side of the road, that protects young trees/bushes. It seems to wind round the trunk and stake, in clear plastic.

Jane, What's up with your car this time ???

Ros tells me the "spanner" now shows on the dash board, so it means a service is due. (MORE EXPENSE) !!

Just seen neighbour putting out some washing. She does look a poor old thing. She had a tooth out on Monday, and needed a blood transfusion before they took it out. She had to have stitches in the gum, which will dissolve by themselves.

Madam is treating the interior glass panel doors with oil, and cleaning the little panes of glass. She it perched on the pouffe, to save her kneeling down.

When I cooked the new potato's last night I cooked enough for Ros to nibble on during the evening (she loves cold new potato's) and enough for me to have some fried this morning with eggs and bacon. I also did a fried slice, which I haven't had for yonks. All washed down with three large cups of tea.. I won't need anything till tonight.

I think I had better get my shower and get dressed it's MID DAY.

We seemed to be busy with one thing or another yesterday. OH was meeting with his parents and the assessor for FIL to get him help with the shower being put in more quickly and they are getting stools for him to perch on and a new more suitable walker and an aid to help him get out of bed like MIL has. (we'd suggested they change sides of the bed to help him for now, but no, MIL said she wouldn't be able to sleep the other side!) OH discovered more daft things they were doing that horrified both him and the assessor! They gave us their heavy old small steps to take to the tip a little while ago and OH told them they shouldn't be using the other big steps they have as even he twisted his back carrying them upstairs to change a light fitting a couple of weeks ago. Well, unbeknown to us, they have bought more small steps (still heavy ones!) and FIL has been perching them on a small table to climb and reach his dvds from a high shelf!! Ye gods!! Why haven't they moved all the flippin dvds to a lower shelf?? As soon as the assessor started asking FIL questions like what did he like to be called MIL was firing off the answers for him as usual!! The assessor had to tell her to let him answer in the end. :-S How does she think they can assess him if she does all the talking? OH said she was miffed when she was told to stay downstairs when they went in the bathroom upstairs to see how he washes and uses the facilities. I'm glad I never went with OH or I'd have come back with a very bitten lip!! The assessor said unofficially that she thinks it may be that he is starting with PD with the way he walks now, but that the brain scan he is waiting for will hopefully clarify what is wrong. At least MIL has stopped sending him to fetch the newspaper now, but only because he had a job to make it back! He's still going to the supermarket with her though, but sits and waits while she shops now. I suppose it's quite good for him to have a change of scene as long as she doesn't make him overdo things. The assessor suggested them going to a luncheon club but they poo pooed that idea. We went for lunch at an Inn at Osbaston after to relax a bit and then to a garden centre that way that we don't often visit. I got a nice bright yellow leafed Euonymous there to brighten up a dark patch of the garden.

We have to be here this morning as we are waiting for OH's new car to be delivered! :-D It should be here on the trailer by 1.00pm and they will take his old car away.

I have just activated my DNA test on line and will do it later today and get it sent off. It will be easier to do it later as you can't eat or drink for a while before you do it. A little tube of spit is required!!

Oh dear Mel, the deer is eating your flowers before they have a chance! I would never have thought they would like roses and clematis! I hope the stronger cream clears up your hand. It must be a nuisance trying to use trowels etc in the garden with it.

Hopefully Jane's car will get fixed properly this time. Itcan't be nice driving it with that happening all the time.

We are off to the cinema tomorrow after my class to see the new modern version of the film of Far From The Madding Crowd. I don't expect it to be as good as the original film we saw the other week but you never know!

I think I shall pop in the garden for a bit now as the sun is out! We'll be out in the new car for lunch when it arrives and if it's still dry weather we might go for a spin somewhere after. :-)

Looks like a brightish morning out there but I hav'nt been out there yet.

Have to go and pick up the other half of my prescrip this morning as they did'nt have one of the creams in for my hand.

I thought The Safe House was far too dark too Frank.It was difficult at times to make out what was going on.

Just come in from the garden having a ciggy and the deer was eating my rose bush again. He went to turn away and go but cmae back and carried on eating then past along to the arch where we have just planted the two new clematis and started eating those so oh showed him away. Now we will have to find something to put round them maybe some plastic shading I have in the shed.

The Robins have hatched and I have had a quick peek while she was collecting mealworms I had put out.

Glad you enjoyed the film shame about the lunch.

Doing spag bol for our dinner and starting it now.................

Bear Grylls tonight so lets see what these silly men are up to this week.

What a great film ..Woman in Gold with Helen Mirren.Lunch wasn't as good as usual and the service pretty poor,so I think we will give the place a miss for a while and try somewhere else.

Frank it is just me going to London on Friday and then coming home in the evening with Hannah.She is staying until tuesday.So Chris will have a nice peaceful day to himself :-D

The sky is blue now and it seems a lot warmer than earlier on. Nothing to eat for us tonight.I know i am still stuffed.But Chris might want something a bit later as his meal wasn't as filling as mine.I feel like I could sleep for England now.

Cleared here for a little while, now the clouds have started to build again.

Managed to watch "SAFE HOUSE" and" 24 hours in the past" Safe house seemed to have been recorded in the dark. Most of it you could do with putting up the brightness. What a way to have lived in the 1830/40s. No wonder the modern day people didn't want to do the jobs, and for FOUR PENNIES a day.

Madam is back (Just) TWO BAGS of shopping. Flowers and an Orchid.

Mel, Ros has that cream for her arms, which are always very itchy after being in the garden.

So Jane is filling her tummy again with lunch out. Then the Cinema, alright for some !!!

Meant to say it cleared up and the sun has been out now for most of the morning and the sky is blue with big white fluffy clouds.

I'm back with two lots of cream for my hand and leg. Doc said the hydrocortisone cream you buy in the chemist is too weak and you could use that everyday continuously. May have a urin infection so he sent a sample off to see what antibiotic I should have so I have to ring on Friday to see. If I have then to go back a week Wednesday if not next Wednesday.

We have had a steady rain for about an hour or so. It's now starting to brighten up.

Ros will no doubt pop to Tesc# for some beer for me and any things we need.(not much).

Well, it looks like I have a full blown head cold. Sneezing like mad, tissues at the ready all the time. I have been warned to stay well clear of Madam, as she doesn't want another bought of cold again !!!

Toast and my mate for breakfast this morning. three cups of tea. Will be wanting the toilet all morning :-D :-D :-D

Lamb Steaks, Jersey Royals,Cabbage, carrots and peas for tonight. With fresh mint sauce. LUVLY !!!!

Oh Frank,you will have to try again :-D........We had some rain earlier,quite heavy and with a little hail too I think.But it seems to be drying up now.I forgot to get my bath mats in last night so they are hanging dripping now :-S

I am looking forward to having lunch out.My tummy is rumbling already but I daren't even have a snack..Can't spoil my appetite can I ..Maybe a cup of coffee will do the trick :-D

Raining here this morning quite hard.

The deer has worked it's way all round the garden this morning and is under the arch in the top garden as I type nibbleing the goat willow. It can eat as much of that as it likes as its a weed tree that grows anywhere.

Silly thing I did'nt post this.

Just back spaced and lost the lot. Will try again later. Everything is so slow today.
