SNOW !!! No surely not.I don't want any now ,not after all this nice weather we have been having.

What an evening you had Frank.It sounded great fun and all that food the Hostess did !!!!.You say she had been cooking for 2 days.That lot would have taken me 2 weeks lol
I have been in the kitchen cooking today and i know i will have taken more than double the time it should have taken.

Four dishes of hogs food all cleared..They must be hungry hogs Mel..Do they tend to eat a lot when they first come out from hibernation?

It is a funny hazy kind of sunshine today but quite nice and warm..My bedding is dry and ready to go back on the bed.Just need to iron the pillowcases.The sheet and Duvet cover are remarkably uncreased so for once I will not be ironing them :-D

I now need to make some sauce so must get the old pinny back on.

I've just got access to an Ancestry tree with some of my peeps on it, so I'm just off to take a look now. I'm really hooked on my tree at the moment. I've even got a relative in Australia just down the road from my friend. We have been emailing each other so that's nice and I've made contact with several distant cousin's here on Genes lately too. Funny really because I'd hit a brick wall for ages and now I have relatives coming out of my ears, so to speak :-D :-D :-D.

So you've called you hog Hebe Hog then Mel. Sounds like the real ones are enjoying the food you've put down for them. I noticed again on the internet that there is going to be snow on the way so they'll be glad of the food if it turns cold again. I don't think we're going to get it as it's supposed to be down the east coast and the Midlands, so have fun making snow men Frank :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D.

The snow is supposed to be arriving on Sandra's birthday, well in the evening, so if we do get some here she'll be so chuffed and might even get her wish to make a snowman if there's enough of it. Just have to wait and see what happens, the weather man could be wrong, but that's twice now I've seen it, so who knows :-S :-S :-S.

I'm going to take a look at the Ancestry tree now see if there's anything useful on there.

Morning all, Evening Kim,,

Wonderful evening last night. We went round by car as my knee was aching. Next door neighbours and neighbours across the road were also invited, so we sat with them on a table at the bottom of the marque.

They had organized everything perfectly. The Marque was attached to the Conservatory and went right down the garden. The tables were all set out, and there was seating for FIFTY FOUR PEOPLE.

The food was very good with a selection of Roast Pork, Roast Beef, Sheep Sh## pie, Stew and dumplings three different meat pies. Loads of mash and Vegetables. Afters were a selection of at least TEN SWEETS.

After we had eaten we had a sing song of all the old songs, all printed on foolscap paper, SOME with larger print for those with poor eyesight.

At the end of the evening we had a collection for "HELP THE HERO'S" and raised over £375.00 It all wound down by 10.30 and we came home.

Ros will go to Tesc# this morning to get flowers for Estele to thank her for all the work she put in.(she was cooking for two days) and she didn't seem at all flustered .

Nice morning here, some sunshine, but not as warm as yesterday.

Cloudy here today. It seems funny after all the lovely weather we have had lately over the past month.

I have named the hog!! She is "Hebe Hog". She is still sitting on my desk looking at me next to a letter I must post this morning.

Saw a couple of hogs last night. One with white over its back and one earlier that oh saw when he went out for a ciggy and called me. When I went out at about 10.30 all the bowls (4 of them) were as clean as a whistle, all gone yet the day before it was all mostly still there when I went to bed.

A bit cooler weather wise today and cloudy, although the sun is trying it's best to come through.

Yes she is a knitted hedgehog but I hav'nt named her yet.

Pasta for us tonight and I am just going to start it!! Iv'e been potting in the shed.

Went up the border and the earth is like concrete. Did manage to dig out a special plant that did'nt do well last year and it came with me from Sufflok so I have split it up and potted it to see which bits grow.

Glad your pleased with her Mel :-D have you given her a name ? she was the small one of the three different sizes you could knit ,i have three more small ones here ready for the children when they next come .

I think your right Frank it is warmer out than in , i sat out for a while waiting for the hairdresser to come and it was so warm , hair all trimmed and blown dry , it will be all over the place tomorrow after a nights sleep ,i think it's all the hairspray she uses .

Should be a nice evening in the Marquee it will have warmed up with all this lovely sun , have a good evening .My side has eased a little now ,i think i did it lifting the things about in the shed the other day.

Last night I woke thinking I could hear noises downstairs...Thinking we had burglars I lay there wondering what to do.........Well it wasn't burglars .....it was my stomach making VERY strange noises !!!!!!!!!!!!!.It took me a while to work it out. :-S :-S

Well one thing for sure, it's warmer out than indoors.

I have been watching Eden HD Wild China and Ros felt chilly so went and sat in the garden. I just looked at her, and her head is on her chest having forty winks in the sunshine.

I think I remember about something being sent to you Mel, but for the life of me , what it is, please refresh my memory. !!!

What you been up to Mandy, lifting things that are to heavy for you. ???

It will teach your OH Gill, to stay away from work, when he doesn't need to be there, they will always find something for him to do.

I am keeping my knee in the elastic thingy, to give it support. So hope it doesn't play up tonight. I will be taking a few beers and a bottle of red with me, so will be an ideal pain killer !!!! should I need it. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Carolyn's duck is around, Ros went round to feed it this morning and water the pots. There was big droppings everywhere. and the food and seeds tray was empty.

Yes Mandy the tree looks an absolute treat. I see that another blossom tree is out by the garage also. The apple tree is in bud, so that will be the next one to look forward too.

There's talk of rain tomorrow, which we can do with. Providing it rains at night, and stays sunny during the day.

What an afternoon it is.Wall to wall sunshine :-D,and it started out so gloomy this morning.
I have had my hair cut and it's looking good.It won't look the same in the morning though after i have slept on it lol..Nigel always uses the tongs to finish it off just to smooth it. There was quite a to do out on the road in front of the salon.I missed it by minutes apparently.There was an extremely drunk chap in charge of a buggy with little child.The man was so drunk he fell over and the buggy tipped over in to the road :-0 :-0.Luckily the child was strapped in and i don't think hurt.Anyway 4 police cars turned up !!!!!..They took the child away.Not sure what happened to the man.Some people are just so irresponsible and should never have children.It makes my blood boil.It makes you wonder what kind of life the little boy has if he is with parents like that.

Have you managed to lean over the sink Mandy for your hair wash? A pulled muscle in the side is so painful and makes it difficult to move properly.

Oh Gill what a pity OH couldn't wait to get his pay slip !!!I bet they pounced on him when they saw him there.Surely the bit of furniture could have waited another day or 2.

I have brought home a bag of hair :-D :-D.I don't think there is that much but any will do to start with.Nigel just said to ring the salon anytime if we want more :-D

Mandy we haven't had Sausage Casserole for ages.Chris and James love it.I can take it or leave it.....That lovely special toad in the hole I did last night went down so well with the men I ended up having Pizza :-S..I will have to do double the amount next time.

If anyone is interested in seeing what Johnny's Sister ,Mum and friends are doing, have a look at Johnny's happy place.com...I can't believe after only 6 months how much they are achieving.I think they are wonderful.It is 6 months today since he died.

Just booked my car in again (I was going to do it a couple of weeks ago).I said the problem of it pulling to the left needs to be sorted now as this is the 3 time it will have been back.So it goes in next Thursday.

Chris is painting in the summerhouse.I think I will go and seek up on him and have a nose :-D

OH made a mistake of nipping into work to pick up his wage slip and yes you've guessed it they wanted him to go in and the silly man said yes. Mind you it's only to put up some flat pack furniture the boss has bought as the handy man has been off ill and has fell behind. Good job OH is feeling better.

How have you managed to pull a muscle Mandy. Rest up and take some painkillers. Hope you feel better soon. Maybe you could have a soak in the bath with some Rad*x if you have any, that might help. <3
The sausage casserole sounds nice and at least you only have to put the oven on.
Be careful lifting it out of the oven though.

Sandra's still watching her programs I recorded for her, so I've had to record a few things I want to see so I can watch them later. Still plodding on with my tree.

Nice and sunny here again, i am having a lazy day as i think i have pulled a muscle in my side it keeps giving me a twinge of pain , i am having a trim this afternoon so i hope i can lean over the sink to have it washed .

It would be nice to see a photo of you and Sandra Gill, glad to hear your OH is on the mend now.

Hope you enjoy your evening out Frank, i wonder what you will be eating tonight.
I bet the cherry tree is in full bloom now .

Sausage Casserole for us tonight ,i have prepared it all ready so i only have to turn the oven on once the hairdresser has gone.

I was thinking of having a photo taken and put it on here but I don't know how to get photo's onto a computer. My phone doesn't take photo's. I was going to ask my daughter when she comes down to take one and email to me, as that is how Jane said she does it. So if it works...........Watch this space :-D :-D :-D.

Sill plodding on with my tree. I did all my housework yesterday so have nothing to do today except the meals. Sandra is watching her programs and OH has gone to his mates. He is definitely starting to feel better now and is going back to work tomorrow.

The sun has broken through here at last. It was cloudy earlier.

My leg has gone down this morning, I think after resting it in bed it's gone down. If it comes up again I will have to do something.

Gill, Ros always puts her towels in the tumble dryer with one of those sheets of smelly things, they always come out soft and nice smelling.

Ros is sitting putting her curlers in, then the hair drying with the hood will be on for a couple of hours (it seems that long to me) to get it dried, Then all brushed out and looking beautiful for tonight.

The doves are chasing each other around the garden/fence. There are FOUR OF THEM..

No cooking tonight !!! We are to be there for 7.00 pm Dinner is 7.30 pm. I have asked if I can do anything to help, but she tells me everything is sorted, and to just turn up and enjoy ourselves. No idea what we are eating, so will be a surprise.

Gill you are like Mel, She has hair right down her back, so she tells us, I have never seen it. ;-) ;-) ;-) Photo I think Mel !!! and you GILL. !!!

I off to my seat in the garden, to get a bit of sun.
