We've had a little drizzle here but it is very mildout compared to the weather we've had lately.
Hope Jane and Chris enjoyed their lunch and film.
I just let the bantams out for their run about. There was a lot of raping going on so perhaps they will start laying soon.
Hope Gill's mum is better now. She must have her hands full at the mo looking after mum. Love to Gill. <3
Frank I will see if I can get a pic of my climbing Hydranga. Yours is in the pic you sent of the snowdrops with a trellis behind it and it will stick itself to the fence as it hangs on by little roots.

Afternoon all.
No Liz I haven't watched any T.V. today. I will have to try to find it and have a look.
Mel, I didn't know I had a climbing Hydranger (sp) That's Ros's dept. :-D :-D :-D I only put things in where she tells me ;-) ;-) ;-)
Had to go out with Madam this pm. The tyre wasn't sealing to the rim, so the chap put on "THE GET YOU HOME TYRE" So after finding a tyre fitter who would look at it we went out. They have sealed the Alloy Wheel, and refitted the tyre. I have got a quote to refurbish all four wheels £264.00. They will take our wheels off, fit some of theirs. Refurbish all the wheels and refit the tyres. When they are done they will call us to go back in and have them fitted. That doesn't sound a bad deal. Will have to see how the "PIGGY BANK" is. I did suggest to Ros, that I would pay for ONE for her birthday another for Christmas, and the same for next year. I am too much of a gentleman to put down her reply. The second word was OFF. :-D :-D :-D
Football on the tele. down the pub tonight. so Madam can watch what she likes for a couple of hours. (SHE WOULD ANYWAY) !!! I am so easy going <3 <3 <3
Fish pie for me tonight. Not sure what Ros has got, but she won't eat fish if she can help it. Crab and Lobster is acceptable !!!

I'll watch it Mel and see what I think, but I'm the same as you on the swearing front, I find it unnecessary and tedious, we both do. Must get Merlin in. Yesterday he spent most of the day in his yard as it was so wet, so he was pretty frisky when he went into his field this morning!!

The pictures are lovely Frank. Ros is certainly very clever with her needle!! Thanks Maureen for your email, At last we're properly in touch again!! I hope the decorating goes well at your sons new house. Yes , Mel, I'm looking forward to the new Poldark. Like you, I shall be comparing it to the old version, hopefully favourably!!!! We didn't watch Broadchurch because we missed part one and just couldn't get into part 2. I think we should have persevered for longer as everyone has said how good it was. We've recorded 'Indian Summers' and shall watch 'A Casual Vacancy' on catch up, when we get round to it!!! It's been a lovely day here, really warm and sunny so after Sainsbury's this am we've spent the afternoon gardening. It's now time for a cuppa! Did you watch Africa's Fishing Leopards Frank? We recorded it as it looks well worth viewing.

Only a couple of hours ironing today so finished nice and early. I don't get backache Jane but my poor hand is nearly twice the size of the other one and I do get quite a lot of pain there, at least it's the left hand so it doesn't affect my painting.
I haven't looked at my e.mails yet, will look forward to seeing Ros craft work, it must give her a lot of satisfaction Frank to be creative and make something useful too.
I don't have anything blooming in the garden yet, I'm looking forward to starting off some flower seeds soon, my daughters are getting into gardening now as well so will probably go around mine and take cuttings for them.
Oh Jane, I can just picture you dodging from room to room trying to avoid the window cleaner, I bet he's seen some sights in his time ;-)

Nothing exciting happening here today. Grey sort of day, I haven't been out yet so don't know if it's cold.
I think I will have to issue JANE with a pass, the number of times she comes to my neck of the woods !!
Enjoy your coffee morning Fiona, and hope the dentist check up goes alright.
Mel, I am sure once you get use to the camera, you will find you can make adjustments to the video. Not that I know anything about them :-D :-D :-D

Gill, I trust your OH can work with his ankle all bandaged up. How's your Mum today. ??

Nice morning here so far.Sun and cloud :-D. Sorry it seems a no go with Katherines interview Fiona.I expect she will keep looking for the right job.The good thing is that she has her job now.Frustrating though for her not to hear anything at all from the interview, even if it is just to say she has been unsuccessful this time.
I need to get a few things done before we go to Northampton so will say tatty bye for now. Back later today

Morning All, Evening Kim
It was freezing here last night 2 degrees at 7.30pm when we took Sofia home, OH had to scrape the windscreen before he could see out, yesterday Oh went for a bike ride, and came back after being out for 2 hours, it was cold but sunny , during his ride, it started to snow , hailstones, raining ,sleet & by the time he got in he was frozen, he had to run a bath and was in for 1/2 till he thawed out. It's sunny to day with almost a clear sky, but it can change very quick.
Katherine has had no news about the interview she went to last week, so no news means no go. anyway at least she still has a job to go to at the kilt shop.
out for coffee this morning , I'm getting picked up at 10.50. then I have a dentist appointment at 12.20, thought I better go and have a check up it's been awhile since I was last there. I think the usual fella has moved on . so it's a woman this time,

I have had a go with the camera but the first time it did'nt take anything. Oh had fiddled with something. Then I took some more just to see if it was any wider and it was. Nothing of interest really so I cleared it. I had a try at the little vole that comes on the patio but I hav'nt looked to see if I have got it yet. It takes 20 seconds to take a video after it take the first still so when I died the birds feeding on mealworms on the patio they fly in and it takes a pic then they are gone by the time it takes the vid.
Cleaned the big girls out this afternoon. It was quite mild out today after the wind dropped a bit but it is getting chilly now so I think I shall turn the heating on now.
Chilli for oh tonight and it's already cooked and I shall have a nice couple of boiled eggs.
Gill I am pleased you managed to get your mum to see her doctor. They need pushing when they get older. I know mine did. Hope hubbies tendon heals quickly. They can take a while to get back to normal. As to your ganglian, I have had quite a few of those in my time but never had to have one drained before. I either banged them by mistake or they just disappeared. I got one on my wrist when we had the Triumph Stag shutting the back down when we'd had the soft top up. It was on my left wrist just where it meets my hand. Had it for ages until one day I found it was'nt there anymore.
Gosh look at the time I had better feed the hungry or I shall be told off for gassing on here.

You missed me there Frank..I see 3 posts slipped in while I must have been posting mine.
Maureen I don't know how you can manage all those hours of ironing all at once.Doesn't it make your back ache?.I have a pile waiting on the ironing board now.I'll get some done in the morning before we go off to Northampton again for lunch and the cinema .We are going to see Selma this week.
Ann I imagine you were tickled pink seeing the programme .How lovely to see the wife still riding :-D
Ahh Frank that little baby blanket with Kittens on sounds so cute :-D Ros's handiwork is going to be so appreciated :-D
The window cleaner turned up this morning just as I was about to get in the shower. As normal I was hiding lol Chris was downstairs and I rang him from my mobile so he could let me know when it was safe for me to get naked .I had whizzed around and pulled all the curtains up stairs but even then there is always the worry that there might be a gap LOL.

Yes, I thought you were supposed to bash a ganglia with a Bible Jane!! .I've never had one, a ganglia that is, so I've never put it to the test!! Funny old day here, one minute high winds and cold, the next no wind and quite mild!! This afternoon I was home alone, so I sorted out our cabinet where we keep bill's receipts and so on. It was full of papers going back to goodness knows when, so I had a purge, and chucked out a load of it, the black box men are here tomorrow, so off it'll go without ' you know who' being any the wiser!! After that I made a cake!!! Tonight we're having long spaghetti and salad, so nice and easy. Everything will go into the dishwasher, so very little clearing up. Tomorrow we're off to Sainsbury's! You can see what an exciting life I lead!!

Thanks everyone for reminding me it is Tuesday :-D..It still feels like a Monday to me lol. When I went to bed last night I took a Brisket joint out for today ...Silly me.I was still thinking it was Sunday forgetting we actually had meals ready for today. What a Silly Billy I am :-S Daft as a brush.
I hope Mum is ok now Gill.Good job you insisted she went to see her GP..My Chris must be one of the worst patients too.I dread to think what he will be like if he ever needs to see his GP !!!!!.I just know that he would put it off and off. When he was working he was able to treat himself for things like antibiotics etc.But no longer of course. He has been telling me for the last few days how tired he was..He slept for over 12 hours last night :-0 :-0..I kept checking to make sure he was still alive LOL.
I took 3 of our logs into the Garden Shop earlier as Chris was saying how wet some of them are.I was in there this morning and the chap asked me how we were getting on with them. When I told him Chris wasn't very pleased with them he asked me to take a couple in so he could teat them with his Moisture Monitor ....he said they were way over .So he is going contact the supplier and tell them ..He said I am the first person to have ever had a problem ..Trust it to be us !
Mandy the radiator in the kitchen seems ok again today .But next time it goes cold we will try turning upstairs ones off like you suggest..Thanks for that advice.
Gill I hope that work go easy on your OH for a few days. They are so lucky that he has been able to back so soon after his nasty accident.
Frank that is a brilliant price for the air ticket Jan got.You are probably right ,and she will have a supply of clothes already in Spain,so hopefully she will just about manage with her hand luggage.
Wow Shirl looks nearly snowed in there in Canada.I hope her Nieces manage to get there ok next week for her Birthday..Yes Frank I think it might be her big one .Reason why the Nieces are going out?
Ooh Gill don't like the sound of having your Ganglion drained..Aren't you supposed to bash it with a Bible LOL..That's what my Mum always said :-D
Mel I hope you manage to get some good filming done on with your new pressy :-D :-D Bet you can't wait to see what you have got :-D
I better get this food in the oven .Didn't realise it was so late.

Afternoon all,
All excitement in your household then Mel, I can see you commentating on your films, like David Attenborough :-D :-D :-D "This is ROBBIE the Robin etc "
Where's the TUESDAY GIRL today.?? Hiding or thinking it's WEDNESDAY lol
Your OH boss would have been in a right mess if he had to have 6 weeks off Gill. Hope your Mum improves soon, and your thumb isn't too sore.
We have had showers this afternoon, and just poking my nose outside is enough to freeze it off. !!!
Roast Lamb in a mint marinade with potato wedges, cabbage, peas and carrots tonight. The meat has been in for 4 hours on 100 degrees, so should fall off the bone by 6.00 when we have it. It smells divine.
Ros has made another cot blanket for the LINUS this afternoon. Some child will love it, it's got kittens over it ahhhhhhhhhhh
