I just managed to find the previous page, My life is not colourful at all really Liz .I wish it was more normal. What with a batty essentric friend and a deaf aunty who drops a hint everytime she comes she wants to live with me. I would not mind but she is not related just someone I have known since childhood and called aunty. |

\just back from South Molton and the NFU who were sympathetic and told us that Insurance premiums have shot up this/last year!! Managed to get another 10% off the bill as we do ALL out insurance through them, so have left things as they are. The 'death of animal' payment means that not only can we claim for Millies death (God forbid!) but if she is ill, and that same illness flairs up again in X weeks time, we can still claim for it (if you see what I mean) as ongoing, whereas if we don't have this 'bit' we wouldn't be able to claim for same thing that reoccurs. Well there you go, I can't put her well being at risk, so 'The Workhouse' it is!!! Fried Spud ready, TOMORROW is the start of diet regime!!! |

Liz I had new lens put in my old frames and then the second time I had them put in my sunglasses which I had'nt really used. They were the same as the everyday glasses, those ones that only have a bridge and side pieces. Trouble with them is if I take them off I can't find them!!! I always have to leave them in the same place at night, on the bathroom windowsill. |

Had our 'House Insurance' bill this am. It's gone up by £235 !!! Have seen that we have 'loss of animal' cover on it, last year that was £80 this year £182!! We're going into the NFU to cancel that, and just have vets fees cover, if Millie died, I don't want any money for her, and Merlin has his own Insurance, so that should cut it down to size a bit! Good thinking David, but OH is using his old glasses as a second pair in case! so will have to have new frames, just have to grin and bear it! Everything seems expense at the moment, and if you run out of money, there isn't even the Workhouse to go to any more!!!! |

If your husband asks for the opticians new prescription to which he is entitled there are dispensers will fit them in the frames he already has at a third of that price. |

Ann I've just had a good chuckle at what your M.I.L said!! You've certainly got some clever birds in your neck of the woods!!! Frank, I'm just enjoying the peace that we shall have for the next few weeks. Hey, you could always send a fish head or two if I send you the address!! have a think about it!!!! Time for Silent Witness, night night all! |
