Just seen on the news there's SNOW in Norwich !!!

Nothing here as yet !!

It's certainly cold out there!.I just realised all the radiators were cold.The boiler had gone off.It has been behaving itself for several weeks.Fingers crossed it will not pack up in these freezing temps.
I have been good and been writing my Cards,but have run out so I'll have to get some more tomorrow when I go to the hairdressers.
I think we will have a reasonably early dinner so better make a start.

Hi nice day here Shirl hope Wayne and og are ok.
Jessica is in Wales so it is difficult to keep a eye on her eating habits.No Mat to make her eat and so I am hoping now the doctor I saw will visit her.
The other daughter gets upset loosing her baby and says Jessica should eat but telling her is not easy she gets upset. I do not think she is ready for another baby. Thanks to you and Jane for the concern x

Jane that lizzard was cute what a shame I hope it was dead but poor little lizzard. The colours on his tum were interesting. We never get anything like that in our garden.

Enjoyed the jungle last night. I have my son staying with us at the moment
and enjoying his company.
I have been listening to Gilda O Neill on audio its great the print in the
book is so small. Our Street its called and described really well fantastic.

I'm that cold I'm sitting with a hot water bottle on my feet. Hope the snow doesn't come this far south, I hate driving in the snow.

Still haven't made a start on Christmas, must get myself motivated, I usually get the tree in and decorated by the beginning of December.

Thank you Frank, will look forward to watching the DVD's and like with the books if anyone else would like them, I will forward them on. Have only read one of the books, got sidetracked with another book called Fingersmith, I can't put it down, so will include that one as well Ann when I've read the other EastEnd books.

I'm back Frank you poor lonely soul.Have been to town to exchange a couple of things and to the pet shop.They have some of the sweetest Rabbits and Guineapigs .I wanted to bring them home.
I think I better get on with the Xmas Cards this afternoon.It was all good intentions the other week when I started them but somehow they got pushed aside and forgotten lol

Mandy it looks like we will may well get some snow sometime this week

Hubby has been to the hospital today ,he had to see the Physio about the pain he's been having in his arm and shoulder ,she seems to think that its just general wear and tear ,or in other words he's getting worn out !!! she told him to go swimming !! Brrrrr .

Grandma Jane !!! thats lovely , cheeky squirrel ,pinching the birds nuts .

Well my dentist appointment has been changed twice ,should have gone today ,but it was changed to the 7th Dec ,then she rang to say that it was booked in error and they had doubled booked that date , so now i go on the 3rd Dec , i don't mind as i'll now see the lady dentist that did the check up, and she was very nice .

Just had a look to see what christmas paper i have, didn't realise i had so much !! i bought it last year when it was half price !! cards too.

Glad everything went off O.K. Mel, keep us informed of the result on Friday.
You certainly had a run around. Its the same here at the moment. Road works at the main road leading to Northampton General. queues for about 1/2 mile. In the paper yesterday the tempory lights had stuck. and it made it even worse.

Jane, I don't know where you could hang your NUTS, to keep the squirrel of them.!!!!! have you tried a straight side of a wall. That would be difficult for him to reach.???? or an upstairs window sill.

Very cold a frosty here today. Friday is going down to minus 7 degrees at night. !!!!

When I'm calling you ooo ooo.

Yes I am here and everything went ok yesterday except they had the road closed to the hospital in Bideford. Had a job to find it had to go back to Meddon St. and turn up it and take a small side road only big enough for one car at a time and then turn right again and right again. Told them there were no Diversion signs but two up the street and they said the works people were supposed to put some up.

When I got there I only had to wait a minuet and a lady called me in. I had to strp to the waist and put one of those awful gowns on. She put me against the machine and told me how to stand with my chin on a thingy and my elbows pressed forward. Then she said take a deep breath and hold it, and that was it. I was getting dressed in the changing room and heard OH ask if there was a Melanie in here. Then off we went! It took longer for us to walk to where he had parked the car than the actual xray toook to take!!!

Then when we got back we had a visitor but on turning into our crossroad there was this huge artic lorry trying to turn round driven by a girl. OH said I hope she was'nt the delivery driver for the light we ordered. She was as it was on the doorstep when we got back!!!! There was no way she was going to get that huge lorry round our crossroad in one go, she must have had to do about a hundred shunts to get it round the corner as the only way she would have got it through was to go back through Black Torrington to the main road.

After all that we cleared out the study for OH to start in there so I did'nt have time to come and look at your posts.

Anyway I shall not know the results till Friday......................

House in even more of a mess today but I did throw away a lot of clothes out of the wardrobe in the study. They would never had fitted me now!!! Mostly size 10s and 12s.

OH is trying to fit a light at the moment and keeps turning the leccy off so I am plunged into darkness as it's dull and raining today.

I have just had a right laugh here reading the posts from last night.What with Ann and her holey socks and Frank in his place on the top of the Xmas tree.......Ouch!!!
Chris is having a bit of a lie in and Chester has got back in his bed ,so I am sat here with my first cup of tea .I was watching the squirrel hanging upside down on the Lilac tree with it's paw stuck down the inside of the bird feeder pulling out the seeds!!! I shall have to try and think of somewhere else to hang it.

I hope Mel is alright after her trip yesterday. Coooee MEL!!!!!!!!!

I picked up Chesters new pain killers earlier,and I think he looking a bit spaced out now lol

I was wondering today why so many of my socks have holes in the toes......I look like Steptoe or the tramp in Bootsie and Snudge!! I think I know why now. OH wears black socks too??? He always puts the socks away after they are washed and I bet he's been wearing some of mine. It always seems to be just me that needs new socks............no wonder with his big toes poking holes in them!! lol, lol

Getting the christmas tree in with all the box's of decorations for the tree and lights for tree and outside windows. They all come in from the garage 1st week in December. Ros moves furniture around to clear "HER" corner for the tree. We have had it for years. It all clips in to the TRUNK the branches go into slots to make the shape. cost over £100.00 20 years ago. but worth every penny £5.00 a year and still going strong. I bet it will see me out !!!! I think Ros has five sets of lights to go on it. The decorations,we have collected over the years. Some were her Mothers. and the Fairy she says is over 60 years old. Put a twig up my ar## and I could go up there out of the way.!!!!!
