Watched the last program of Pillars of the Earth last night. I really enjoyed it. I think they are bringing it out on a dvd today. Never did see the first episode!

I too want to see that Any Human Heart but it is not OH's thing so I what it on the BT Vision box thingy on Replay when he has gone to bed and I can see it without comments about how bad it is made etc. He likes X Factor so we see that. He can't stand Katie Wassel and as for Wagner well..................................

Not bright today but it is dry here and the sun is trying to shine a bit.

We are off to Barnstaple soon so just caught up with posts.

Don't even know yet what we are going for!! I have to change a matress cover I bought for a bigger one as we are going to order a king size bed and I bought a double.

Ann hope the air is not to blue when you get those jobs done.

Had a funny dream about having my hair coloured last night. Whoever did it did'nt cover the new grey growth!!

Couldn't get on here earlier due to GR 'maintenance' and now I'm here most of you have gone. lol

OH has gone to bed with a migraine, so I think I'll be off soon. It's been a horrid dull damp day here. Saw MIL and FIL earlier. FIL's scans he had done are fine but they want to do another blood test in 6 weeks to check his kidney function. The specialist told him he is a very well man. He went bounding upstairs without even holding the rail this afternoon, not bad for nearly 90.......wish I could!! lol

Shirl, it's always the same when you clear your drawers.......looks twice as big in a pile on the bed than in the drawer. lol

Your dad will look nice for his party in his new jumper and tie Fiona. Keep him nice and warm too. I never realised Dobies were in Scotland as well. We have one about 15 miles away. They always do nice xmas displays, some of the best.

Was just thinking, when I was little, the xmas stocking was always one of mum's nylons, not like the fancy socks you see nowadays. Is that what other people had too?

Well, off to bed now......jobs to do with OH in the morning, like mending the bathroom door handle and re-fixing the kitchen towel rail. The air could be blue !!! lol

Did you mention snow Frank , I hope not here. I googled the weather and it said we were having sunny and cloudy days all week, but tempretures would drop to -2 during the night, need to put on my Jimmies as OH is away from tomorrow till wednesday in Germany so I won't have anyone to warm my cold feet on.!!!!

Sounds like you escaped from Pudsey Sheila lol.I love these European Markets.Haven't had a German one here,but have had French and Italian.I went to a lovely German one in Covent Garden one year.Was it a Xmas German Market you went to?

We have just finished eating.............Just thinking back to when I was little .We had our roast at lunch time and then for tea it might have been scones ,jam and cream,or drop scones that Dad made.....or boiled eggs and soldiers.That was probably my favourite.I used to do boiled eggs for tea when my two were little.But James has never eaten eggs since I gave him his first boiled one.He was nearly sick,and to this day he will not eat eggs.He is 24 lolol

Dinner nearly ready as I have just put the doughboys in. It's Irish stew with sprouts. Carrots leeks onion and potatoes and barley in the pot with the doughboys.

I love Jane Mac I have seen her about six times and have all of her records .
I was not keen when she was on the Cruise she married that Henrik Brixen and went to America and he took all of her money after becoming her manager. Now she is engaged to Ed who was a drummer with the Searchers and will marry him next year. I have met Jane once at her show in Redditch a lovely lady from Wakefield her backing singers have been with her for years. I like Janes voice and her songs.

I went to the German market yesterday in Brum very interesting.i got chased down New Street by a stray Pudsey Bear . I loved the Loose women on Children in Need.

Well no Jed Wood in Celeb what was that women taklking about did not think they would be in that although today the lady said they were going to be in it but someone let it out that they were and they were cancelled.

I still like Nigel but please let them give someone else ago its getting boring seing that poor women screaming and fainting.

I too keep being told they are doing Maintenance.It has taken flipping ages to bet back here again.I hope they manage to speed things up.
Frank did they say SNOW HERE??.If so Yes I love walking you know who in it.I doubt it will be this far down though.As long as it is clear for us to get to this wedding on Sunday.

I have Lamb leg Steaks marinated in red wine ,garlic and herbs.(Smells scrummy).Charlotte potatoes,carrots and green beans.My tummy is rumbling now.It will be ready in about 20 minutes.

Hannah will be home tomorrow night for a meeting with Financial Advisor at 9am on tuesday with C.A.B to do with her house.Then she will be on the next train back to London.She is enjoying her new job ,and can't wait to get her first case load.She is just shadowing at the moment,but needs to get her teeth into something.

Had a smile this afternoon, have been looking on Ebay for fifa 11 for X Box for Lewis.One of his Christmas presents. One I looked at had a question from a woman "PLEASE may I retract my bid. I left my computer open and on Ebay. and my son has put a bid on this." Little B##### though he would get himself a present. !!!!

Had a quite day.reading and being on puter.

Looks like we are in for some bad weather next Wed/Thur. could be SNOW. Jane will love that walking Chester.

yes Jane exactly like Edinburgh woolen Mill, It gets a lot of coach trips coming to visit all year round, in about 3 weeks time there will be a couple of reindeer outside and the kids will be able to feed them and have their photo's taken with SANTA's reindeer

with all bit's & bob's for the Monster's & daughter gives them a a few things instead of just one gift---One year while out this Young Mod store had a close out ----Belt's 4 for the price of 1--you know the kind all BLINK cOLOR STONES ETC Bought 8 Belts each plus a couple Boa''s They thought I'd gone mad all thes belts keep comming out -ha ha
