Come on Guys, can we all just agree to disagree where necessary, and not keep making issues out of casual remarks or perceived insults. Surely we are all big grown up people here, and we are bound to have different ideas and attitudes. So for goodness sake, the whole idea of this thread is to chat about things, tell each other our highs and lows (we ALL have them) our daily lives, things that might be of interest to some, but not particularly to others, in other words a mishmash of ideas and attitudes which, for me, makes it interesting and companionable. So, if you, whoever you are are intent on wrecking this thread, I personally would ask to stop it right now and GO AWAY. If, however, you,whoever you are wish to join in our good natured banter, then you are more than welcome. The choice is yours, but PLEASE, no more unpleasantness or gunning for one particular person, OK?!

Hi Jane we have had flooding also here my car is stuck at the bottom of the road with two more I had to walk up from the doctors having not been well. The water dept is unblocking a drain.

Myself and Sophia have been and handed over our cheque today for the scanner . it is such a lovely hospital .

Jessicas had a scan and she will have her baby 26 th May and its a boy so it will be Matt .

My computer has finally woken up. It has been so slow the past few days by the time I've got the site up I have to go out or do something.

I have been reading all your posts today, makes me think, Christmas is just around the corner. Must get a move on, I will probably be late ordering stuff on Am***on and then start worrying whether it will come on time.

My mum used to hang those concertina type decorations too David, one I remember was a bell, she had them for years, if I go up in her loft I will probably find them, think I'll let my brother sort whatever out that's up there.
I am not going to buy a Christmas tree this year, last year it cost £40 and I'm not here over Christmas anyway. I bought one in a pot last year too and it's been in the garden all year, so I'll bring that in and decorate it, it looks about 3 or 4 ft now.

Well done Sheila, helping to raise that money, where would these charities be without people like you.

I have missed the news but gather there has been bad flooding in Lostwithiel (sp).It must be dreadful for the people down there.No rain here but it is very cold.Just going to do a bit of ironing now.

Listen Frank I have reported your abuse to Genes and they have deleted most of it. You are showing your true colours I came on here to thank everyone for the lovely comments on me raising £1000 pound and cannot be bothered with your insults I have chosen to ignore you
and have not put anything on any threads only to press the gene abuse button because of your insults and was told yours and Piers messages had been removed.
Please let it rest I am not well today my nose was bleeding all night and I have been told my blood pressure was up

Not a very nice morning here.It is just very grey and surprisingly not Foggy.
While I was out I saw a large black rabbit just sitting on the verge at the side of the road.I know we have wild black ones near me but I haven't seen any down in the village until today.I am assuming it was a wild one.I was scared it would run out into the road ,but it disappeared in the hedge.

Must go now as I have a few things to do out and about..BBL

Morning All,

Well it was wet and windy lst night but not too bad. This morning is very wet out there but not so cold.

When I arived home yesterday evening OH had stripped the hallway of the things hanging on the wall and standing on the floor and painted half of the ceiling. I now have even more stuff in our lounge!! and the cleaner comes today! He has asked us to take down all the plates on the plate rack round the walls of the dining area and all the china objects off the room divider. I am going to be in more of a mess then!! Just as well I bought 4 of those big plastic boxes on Tueday when we went out! There are 15 plates on the rack plus3 ginger jars, one royual dalton sailor with his parrot on his shoulder8 jugs and other bits and bobs.

Wish me luck.

As to the piece of suede Jane I could'nt make a skirt out of it as it's not THAT big.
