Me a wicked Mother ? Oh Frank how could you say such a thing .I'm a wonderful Mother.(Most of the time) lol.Maybe I am just being cynical .I will let you know if she asks for something after this fantastic Risotto !!
Fireworks got really loud a little while ago .I couldn't make out if it was from Wicksteed Park or Burton Latimer. But it all sounds peaceful now.Chester looks like he is dead with his head hanging over the side of his bed.I might just see if I can get a snap of him.

Ann, you can only hope that Mandy is right. From my experience that is a good posabillty. If you look before going to the garage, and IT IS a nail, don't do what I did and pull it out, the tyre went down so quick, I had a job to get the jack under the car. to change the wheel.

It's been very quite round here tonight with fireworks. I think they should only be allowed at organised displays. You hear every year about children being burnt by them.

Poor old Hannah, Has to be after something, to do a good turn !!!! You wicked Mother Jane.!!!! Think yourself lucky that she offers.

I never used to like the Jumping Jacks ,you never knew which way they would jump !!!
Think i liked the Rockets best , although you had to watch out for the sticks falling lol

Ann, could you have some thing in your tyre ?we had a big nail in one of our tyres once and that made a clicking noise as we went along .

Went out in my car this afternoon........it has developed a loud tick that speeds up with the car, especially loud when turning left!! Off to the garage in the morning........even MORE EXPENSE!!

I think it was the english ones Shirl as they were referring to local census records.

OH was talking about those e readers the other day Frank.....he has loads of books lying around too.

Off to watch QI now.

I have never been keen on Fireworks .I remember when I was very young ,maybe about 6 being hit by one .I think it was called an aeroplane.I prefer to watch them from indoors.
We used to have firework parties here when the children were young and Fitz, his wife and boys would come. One time Chris lit a rocket and it went off on a tangent and crashed on next doors patio window !!!!!!!!!!.Luckily no damage. But it didn't half put the wind up me.

Jane

Mel has done some ironing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Jane

Jane Report 5 Nov 2010 18:16

We don't mention fireworks here Fiona.Chester goes nuts when he hears them.So it is all curtains drawn and the TV sound turned up.I let him out just now and he went haring off down the garden barking his head off lol
I think tomorrow will be noisier than tonight. One good thing is that there are no young children down our road so I doubt there will be any parties going on nearby.
I always worry about the cows and sheep and horses in the fields.
You are very good to keep up your back classes. After the 12 weeks could you do them at home?

I did a very long post earlier but I have no idea where it went lol
Shirl the Treacle Slice is just like a version of a Treacle Tart.

We have Jacket Potatoes tonight ,with Baked Beans and cheese.Easy Peasy meal. Tomorrow Hannah has said she will cook a Risotto !!!.I wonder what she is after lol.

Hi All
Been another busy day, back class this morning and next week is the last one with this group. on the 19th Nov I join the big group in the gym and are exercising for another 12 weeks. after that if I want to continue doing exercises I have to join the Lesure(sp) Centre in the Main Gym, and that can be a bit pricey not sure what I am doing.

Shirl, Coffee is another good Idea.

Family all gone home now daughter no2 & boyfriend are of with friends tonight to see the big firework display at out Local Park , it's put on every year by the local council.
I can hear fireworks being set off already. there alot of bangs going on as well
Hope all you folks with pets have an ok night, How does Chester cope with the fireworks Jane,

What a PIG of a day. RAIN RAIN RAIN. Not cold but so miserable. Ros is out with her friend, looking round the shops, I can think of better things to be doing.

Down to the last 4 chapters of my book, will finish that off tonight in bed. !!!

I have been looking on EBay for these E book readers. missed one last night by £1.00. Though they would be better than having all these books laying around. You can get upto 160 books on it. Even more with the add ons. Has any of you got one ???? and what do you think of it ????
New they are from £150/225 I'm looking at 2nd hand from around £50/70. Ros will buy it for my birthday/christmas.

Not cooking that much tonight. Chicked Kiev. Jacket Potato and baked beans. Make a change from Roast.

What do you expect, Jane lives in the outback !!!! Real old country locals out Kettering way.!!!!

I have been clearing leaves this morning. Raked up piles around the lawn, pick up the main lots, then got the garden Vac out. Filled my Green bin and half of the neighbours.

Found two of my largest fish dead on the top of the pond this morning. I think I can put it down to old age. They have been in there for 10 years.

Just popped on to say I have em you Jane. That treacle slice sounds yummy. I haven't seen a Tawny Owl for years. You do get a lot of wild life where you are Jane. It is odd that it is out in the day......maybe it is hungry?

Glad you enjoyed your night at the theatre.......I didn't know of him, but OH did.....listens to more radio than me.

More jobs now. BBL

Jane Report 5 Nov 2010 11:50

Oh Boy Guess what I have just seen?????????

An owl!.It was sat in the field just about 2 foot away from me.I think it was a Tawny. It looked at me and then took off into the next field. The size of those wings!!!! and it was absolutely silent.I think it must be the same Owl Chris saw the other morning being chased by some crows.I wonder why it is out like this in the daytime and why would it be sitting on the grass??
