Mel, I think they will do a tree length and width. If you go to :-"Ronald O'Neill they will answer any questions. I sent my tree via genes through "GEDCOM" thats a new one for me.

Liz hope everything goes well for the results of OH's MRI scan.

Did you hear anymore from your troublesome neighbours about the boundry?

Morning All,

Cloudy today and a bit miseralbe.

Thanks for the view from your bedroom Jane and the colours are lovely in the trees. Are they poplar trees at the very back of the pic?

Frank thats not a bad price for a family tree is it? Do you know if they just do direct lines? That would be nice because mine has grown sideways a lot which is where I don't really need it.

I think I am just about ready to climb those stairs.I just want to crawl into bed.The trouble is if I go too early I will be awake again by midnight lol.
I have my book so I will go and try and read as long as possible.

Ann, I didn't think I'd actually sent the pic from my bedroom. It all went a bit funny so I assumed it hadn't gone.I won't send it again then lol

My In Laws had a thing about clocks Ann.I think we ended up with 4 here after they had both died.We just kept one ,after many years of wondering what the heck to do with them. They were just all sat in the garage,so we decided which one to keep and sold the others.

I was just going to mention the ear protectors Jane!! If they hadn't warned me about the noise I would have thought it had gone wrong. Hope the process is speedy Liz so they can start the treatment.

Love the pics of Sofia in her pumpkin outfit, Fiona. That pumpkin is very well carved.....scary!

The trees out of your bedroom window look very colourful Jane. I can't believe how the trees look so good this year.

I didn't know any companies did that Frank. Save you getting writer's cramp! Loved your jokes BTW. lol

I have been in the city today, which isn't as nice as it used to be when there were big department stores and ornate old buildings. It is such a trek from the new development to the old 'centre' as well.

Called at MIL and FIL's yesterday. The latest purchase is a new expensive chiming clock. They only had a new one 2 years ago, a good one with westminster chimes, nothing wrong with it, but they gave it to the shop where they got the new one!! When they went to make a cup of tea we looked around and counted 5 clocks in one room. I told OH 'they have too much time on their hands'. lol.

Frank Report 1 Nov 2010 19:49

Were they looking for your brain JANE> LOL LOL

I had one years ago, I have a blood clot on the side of my brain, from when a precast garage collapsed on my head. The noise is enough to send you mad.

Jane Report 1 Nov 2010 19:02

I had that MRI scanner on my head Liz and had to wear the biggest ear protectors. It still sounded like a Jack Hammer!!!!.I found it very claustraphobic (sp) too.Hopefully the results will come through quickly Liz.

Jane Report 1 Nov 2010 18:04

I bet you will buy lots of things Mel without thinking, and then suddenly realise that Mums not there. As long as you and your OH enjoy it ,and you can raise your glass ! My parents always had that Sherry and then changed to Crofts.I like a glass of sherry ,but remember one year I had a bit too much before serving up Xmas Dinner and forgot to serve up the turkey lol.Everything else was on the plates ......just not the turkey.

Have found a Company that PRINT your family tree, it appears they are the only Company that do it, they can access your tree via Genes. and have been doing it for years. They show you the finished article before they print it. Not bad price either. upto 500 relatives £30.00 500 to 1500 £60.00.

Hope you enjoyed todays Jokes. My old junior school friend who lived a few house from me, keeps sending them. They go all over the world via other friends.

I bought a BIG bottle of Harv*ys Bri**l Cream Sherry for Christmas. Mums favorite but I shall have to drink it all myself now................................

I know OH will help me with it perhaps. It was always a ritual for mum at Christmas and I did'nt think when I bought it.

It is ages since we went to the theatre.

Went shopping after all and got that out the way. All packed away now and I brought home a nice salad and half a cooked chicken, 2 pigs in a blanket and two stuffing balls wrapped in bacon. Should keep him in the other room quiet for a while. Oh and a pot of coleslaw. It's a greek salad with feta cheese and black olives.

Mum used to call it a chittering bite Jane,
Hated swimming as a child still not keen on it unless it's somewhere abroad in our own villa pool, where I can go at my own speed and no one splashes, would allways be the one sitting on the side shivering when we went to the baths during school time , the teaches never had time for the slow learners.

Rain , Rain & more rain and it's getting dark and it's only 3.45 in the afternoon.
Had a lazy day to day , no ones phoned, no ones knocked at the door , so I am just plodding on with a few jobs and reading my book, daughter no 2 will be down shortly to use the broadband,
think I'll pop the kettle on could to with a hot drink.

OH Those green tights Mandy make Sofia's legs look even more bandy than normal, I've almost forgot what she looks like with tights on, daughter has Sofia dressed mostly in Jeans or jogging suits these days. and the nappy makes her look as if she got a bigger bottom than she really has, lol
I remember my two wore terry's nappies most the time, a few disposible ones if we were in the car.
Hopeing her mum will put a dress on her sometime over christmas, daughter says there's not much point dressing her up if she's not going anywhere special.
I loved putting my girls in dresses, at least no one misteaked them for boys, because Sofia still has short hair she often gets misteaken as a litle boy even when she's got her pink jacket on.

A Shivery Bite....What a great expression Shirl. When we used to swim in the sea in the evening, someone would get a little bonfire going and stick some baking potatoes in ready to warm us all up.It was scrumptious.
