My favourite programme is on, so went out to the kitchen and done all the veg for tomorrow. Pudding made and in the fridge. Just cheese sauce to make tomorrow.

Didn't fancy eating tonight, so had cheese on toast with cherry tomatoes under the grill.

I remember that film David, very good it was too. The other day they had the "GREAT ESCAPE" on with Steve McQueen. Lewis thought it was great. We have noticed if you leave him alone with the remote control. He loves to tune into American humour shows. I can't stand them. Don't know why he likes it.!!!!

Mel, Glad all went well yesterday. Enjoy that bottle of RED. I will be thinking of you. I haven't had a drink for over two weeks now. and I don't miss it. Will still have the odd pint or two when I go out, which isn't very often these days.

Did you get the Christmas Vidio.???? those who I haven't sent to, who would like it for young children, just say so, and I will forward it.

David

David Report 30 Oct 2010 18:13

Amanda, Did you read the book King Rat?
Set in a POW camp.A US POW is treating the experience like a business.
He has fellow POW's catching rats alive in traps.
He kills them and skins them and cooks them.
Then sells the meat to British POW officers, who of course eat it.
George Segal played King Rat in the film version.

You must be relieved it's over now Mel, glad it all went well.

Phew, changing duvet covers is better than any workout. I must have burnt up loads of calories, could have a box of chocolates now ...lol I quite fancy a chinese, pity you're too far away Mandy, I might have gate crashed.

Oh well, it's avocado and salad for me tonight,
