If you post the info someone will try to find out for you but they have probably been mistranscribed. |

hi every one in the 1851 census it said thomas leatherland was born 1810 barrow leicestershire it say hes a widower he has 2 sons with him thomas 1837 and joesph 1843 on the 1851 census he is in nottingham at it looks like brougham street |

Using the soundex system on Ancestry on Joseph's surname and requiring some connection with Nottinghamshire reduces the possibilities to less than 10 individuals on each census in England. Joseph disappears from view for 1861 on this search, but might be this individual from the 1871 census? |
