It is 1881 that i'm looking for....
In 1891 Rebecca was living in Limehouse and 1881 I believe the Sloane Street is her but she gives the address on her daughters BC as this College Place so was wondering who was living there in 1881 (the year before she had her Sybil)
I have tried searching street by street on Ancestry but got bored after page 60 and thought there must be a simpler method!

I can be done. If you have access to Ancestry. Go to UK census collection; scroll down click 1891 Engalnd; then scroll down and click London ; then click Chelsea and then you would have to search page by page!! Unless someone knows a simpler method??

You should be able to do an address search on the 1881 census. Instead of putting College Place in the street address box, try just putting in College.

Hi All,
I ordered a BC on a whim and it arrived today and is who i thought it was!
It gives the child was born 1882 in Chelsea Workhouse, named as Sybil but no surname, father left blank but the mother is the person i'm interested in (she was my GGGM). Her name is Rebecca Beasley and she gives her address as 10 College Place, Chelsea - I've been trying to find this address on the 1891 to see if that turns up anything but I cannot find it???
Is it possible to do address searches?
