Although this may have been mentioned before - if you're particularly interested in 1917 when your grandfather was born, there's unlikely to be any ER because of WW1.

Only adult males over the age of 21 & women property owners would have been entitled to vote in Elections.

Female suffrage began to take place in 1918 when women over 30 with a minimum property requirement + those married to a property owner, or who had attended a British university was permitted.

Full Suffrage didn't occur until 1928!

What sort of years are you interested in?

If you give your grandfather's name and date / year and place of birth, members can work from there to hopefully be able to help.

I cant remember where i need to join to search who lived at certain addresses. I am told by my elderly aunt there are siblings of my grandfather that i just cant seem to find as they had different father names, (so far maynard, hall, wheeler ) as my g/g mother married a few times i cant trace simply using her maiden name.... so i thought if i can look at the few addresses i have maybe i could see who lived there and find them that way? Any advice welcome :-S
