Good evening all,

Thank you all so much for the time you have spent on my query and the information provided. A gentleman has messaged me via Ancestry. He went to his local LDS FHC and managed to get me a copy and send it two me. It is a two page document handwritten with dates and granddads pension etc on it, quite a bit of information. It is amazing to see and will now save it to my tree.

Thank you all once again and especially Erika who tried so hard to get this document to me.

I am very grateful to you all.

Kind regards,

Kathryn

Erika .........

what would happen if you c&p'd?

Open the record, copy it, paste it into a word document, then paste that into the message to Kathryn (ie, not an attachment but in the actual pm)?????

Just a thought!

I have failed miserably in my attempts to provide the info requested. Infuriating - I can open the record as an attachment on my computer, but poor Kathryn can't at her end.

I wonder if perhaps there is some sort of 'locking' to prevent the sharing of info?

Good Afternoon,

I have found a record for my Grandfather George Richard Bryant ie in Pension Record Cards. Pension Record Ledger. I used to subscribe but at the moment cannot afford the same. If anyone has access and can obtain this record for me I would be ever so grateful. I have copied and pasted below the basic record that I have found but obviously Fold3 needs to be accessed to retrieve the original.

Name: George Richard Bryant
Rank: Bdr
Birth Date: 1888
Residence Place: Cork Ireland
Military Service Region: Ireland, Ireland
Discharge Date: 19 Mar 1919
Service Number: 43262
Regiment: R. F. A.
Title: Pension Record Cards
Description: Pension Record Ledger
Reference Number: 13/MB/2722

Thank you in anticipation.

Regards,

Kathryn
