Ordering certificates from GRO

I have not been researching for a while and now cannot find out to order a birth certificate for a family ancestor. It used to be easy and cost £9.25 I think. Has the system changed please.

Presume you are going to the GRO site

Certs have gone up and are now £11 for a paper copy of you can order a downloadable pdf one for £7

You can only get pdf ones for births and deaths. Not marriages

Register with the GRO site and then follow the ordering service guide. As Shirley says you can get a cheaper pdf certificate which is fine for genealogy purposes (need a real one for legal use). It will be sent to your email addy and can then be downloaded,
