The rest of his life is pretty well known. We have next to no information prior to the marriage. Can anyone help please. Thankyou Loraine

In 1981 with Lavinia Olive Creek and Maxwelll Joseph Creek: Winifred Rose Creek in the New Zealand, Electoral Rolls, 1853-1981 Name: Winifred Rose Creek Electoral Year: 1981 District: Waitotara Region or Province: Taranaki Earlier ERs also show her (and Joseph) as Creek, so presumably Joseph was born Tikey (if you're correct in thinking that) and became Creek at or before marriage.

	You mentioned a mining area in the South Island. ??? Joseph Tikey in the New Zealand, World War I Army Reserve Rolls, 1916-1917 Name: Joseph Tikey Residence : Tuapeka Year: 1917 Reserve Roll: 2nd Division Occupation: Miner. Address: Miller's Flat, Tuapeka EDIT: No, this can't be him. There's a code letter F beside his name, which means this man had more than four children. Maybe his father ??
