I am looking for information on the following
John Armitage
His son Douglas born 1922 elland,Yorkshire
Douglas married in 1962 in st ives huntingdonshire and he was living in wyton.
I know he married a valerie cook .
Any information on any of the above would be much appreciated

There are several Armitage/Crossley marriages.

As you say his father was John, there's this one:

Douglas Armitage died in 1999 in California and his ashes were buried in st Andrew's in plymouth devon uk.
Apparently he was in the raf and in 1962 was based at wyton, I have not been able to get any raf records for him and I havent found anything to confirm is death or the burial of his ashes.
