I am having a new desktop computer to replace my ancient one which wasn't new when I got it. My local friendly computer professional is transferring all my data onto the new one. There seems to be a problem though with FamilyTreeMaker and my tree. I can't find the original disc which it seems is needed. He has taken it away to see if he can solve the problem and I am waiting to hear from him, but it occurred to me that someone else may have had the same problem and could recommend a solution. |

Thank you Namelessone. Forgive my ignorance, but how would I do that - getting the information from the old computer into a new installation? My aging brain is having difficulty with the logistics! |
