Peter I believe you ony get the reply template on the first message from a new contact.

I have got he two site adresses running side by side, and both look identical. Neither has any option to use the pre-worded templates. Is it the case it is only available for new requests, or when using the link from your email?

Ahhh! I thought it was a bit odd that I'd never seen the options for automated reply. Thought - as usual - I wasn't looking properly! Anne

Just checked with a recent contact and following the link from the email (taking me to the dreaded d o t c o d o t u k site) I do get the automated reply boxes. I suspect that some people think that they OUGHT to use the automatic replies. I'm sure I would have done if they had been around when I joined.

Horatia I never get the opportunity to make the automatic replies. This must be because I also never use the c o d o t u k site. I never follow the links from emails but always go via the new messages link.

I'm sorry that this isn't a tip; but I hope you can give me one. I'm sure I saw a thread on here a month or so ago where people were moaning about the pre-typed templates and some people said they got the option to use the templates, while others said they never saw them. My memory is a bit vague on this, but I think Merry said it depended if you used the (DOT) COMpany address or the (DOT) COmpany (DOT) UK address for GR. Is this true or is my memory up the wall?
