1851 census, ref HO107, piece 1551, folio 298, page 16. Harriett A Bell and family - they live at number 40 ???? can't quite decipher the street! have looked at several pages and am finding it really tricky - need some opinions please :-)) thank you!! Maz. XX |

In 1855 a Thomas Hemingway lived at Number 10 Totten Street, Stepney, so it looks like tat is the word. |

I googled Totten Street Stepney and came up with this http://www.hemingway(.)uk(.)com/willtexts/229.htm a will for Thomas Hemingway which mentions one of his properties as 10 Totten Street, Stepney |

It looks just north of Commercial Road, in the region of Belgrave St and Bromley St. |
