Probably a daughter's birth......the cert will clear up the uncertainty about mother's maiden surname Name: Minnie Grocott Year of Registration: 1885 Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec District: Stone County: Staffordshire Volume: 6b Page: 48 Or this one............ Have you got the marriage cert for Thomas and Mary's marriage? Or the birth cert of one of their children? Which is the correct spelling of Thomas's surname? Reg
