Thanks Reg that may explain it. I have just found Alfred I Ofarrell born in Llanelly 1865. Will order that birth Cert anyway thanks again for your help

He may not have been registered........it wasn't compulsory until 1875. Reg

Yes I did Reg. Ive gathered enough info and am now going to get the birth certs but cant seem to find the vol or page for his birth.

Sorry, He ws born in Wales, Lougher or Swansea about 1867. I also know that he moved to Ross, Herefordshire.

Lisa How can anyone help when you don't say where and when he might have been born..............judging by the name, it may well have been Ireland. Unless you know that it wasn't............... Reg

Im trying to find the volume and page number for Alfred Ofarrell. I want to obtain his birth cert and would like this info. I cant find him on BMD anyone know where else I can look??
