Anyone got rellies with unusual/amusing occupations they'd like to share? Most of my own are fairly standard but doing a look-up for someone the other day I found a boarder who was listed as 'acrobat'. |

I suppose someone had to do it, and wouldn't have thought that there were too many candidates. Good for him. Olde Crone: I haven't seen the other thread, sorry if I'm duplicating. |

And I think most of you are far too sensitive to be told about some of my housemates' activities at 3am when they've been drinking for about the last eight hours... |

I have a few unusual ones... my grt grt grandmother was a Bustle Maker and her brother was a Clog Dancer in Music Hall Another distant rellie on the tree was a Bone Cropper (I thought that sounded very gruesome until I discovered it was probably to do to with corset making and not dead bodies haha!) One of my grt grt grandfather's was a Cigar Maker Some of my Scottish ancestors (Inglis) were Clock and Watch Makers with some of their descendents becoming Gold Chain Makers whole generations of another line were all Tin Plate Workers with one of these becoming an Umbrella Maker in his later years. Oh yes, and on another line my grt grt grandfather was an Omnibus Proprietor and Horse Keeper. That's just a few of the interesting ones I can think of off hand. |

Trust me Sue, you don't wont to know. It involved copious quantities of vomit and diarrhoea, and that wasn't the worst. Michael |
