Does that mean that the Ancestry freeBMD´s are automatically updated as well ? |

No, it doesn't, as ancestry will do their own update when they choose to. But if their copy was updated at the same time as FreeBMD's, then if there was a problem it would affect both, so it's just as well really... Kate. |

Thanks Kate - it´s just that I usually use the freeBMD´s on Ancestry. I find the rootsweb site so slow. |

But what a fantastic resource and FREE. I remember this was one of the first sites I ever used on the net and I was gobsmacked that I could get that info for nothing and such an easy search. Power to the people who have taken so much time effort and expense for the good of us lot! It makes me drool to think of Parish registers done the same way - oh heaven. |

Brilliant, have just found two marriages and have confirmed the data on Ancestry BMD (saved me going through all the quarters for so may years). It is now very slow,may have to wait until early hours. Linda |
